“Very convenient stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2013

Stayed three nights in the new part of the hotel and enjoyed it very much. Rooms were spacious and quiet and beds were comfortable - though the pillows were far too big/high for me. Breakfast was nice and unlike reported in the earler review the fruit salad was made of fresh fruit. The massage I had in the spa was well worth the prize.

Hotel is very attractive and perfectly located in the heart of Kureessare town centre. The staff is friendly and helpful, spa has atmosphere and our room in the historical side was nice.
The only down side was breakfast that lacked in selection and looked and tasted like straight out of plastic with canned fruit, industrially sliced bread, essanse packed youghurt etc. We tried the hotel restaurant in the evening as well and although it sounds good on menu, were not too impressed with quality. For a hotel of this standard we would have expected more attention to detail.

We stayed there in the beginning of July and we loved it. We stayed at the old part, the room was nice, I especially liked the roof window. The only minus was that there was no AC in the room. Also the shower was a little low but otherwise the bathroom was nice. The spa was also great, I got a pedicure and a massage there. The pool was very relaxing, although the water in the hot tub was a little cool. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Overall a gat experience

Very good hotel with interesting design in the rooms. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Spa is also small, but enough for relaxing. A bit cold water in the pool. Breakfast nice with a good choice of food. Prices are high, but it worth it.

Arensburg Boutique Hotel & Spa was one of the best Hotels on our long journey within the Baltic countries. The Hotel is located in the center of Kuresaare with a lot of street cafes & restaurants. Castle in walking distance. Room was good and quite. Staff conservative, but friendly. Hotel breakfast excellent and "Ala Card" restaurant has gourmet quality. Hotel offers variety for use of pool & spa as well as live music at their beer garden.

It was a perfect weekend holiday. Hotel service was very nice, location is right in the heart of the Kuressaare town, room was trendy with a nice big bath, breakfast was varied. We were really lucky with the timing in the beginning of June. Weather was excellent, hotel wasn't overcrowded, town didn't have hordes of tourists. So we were able to enjoy basically the private spa in the morning and after that have a pleasant breakfast out in the sun.

great place, in balance between price and quality, i would say that quality wins. very good breakfast. Internet access might be worse in far rooms - 3xx. And conditioning is a big noisy.
Restaurant is great at Arensburg, its my 2nd favorite place in Saaremaa

Room Tip: far rooms (3xx) have average internet access, but it works.
