We had higher expectations of both the hotel and the restaurant at the Arensburg. Food and service are nothing special. It was summer, so mainly young girls who seem to struggle a bit and you could see they were not used to that job all year round. It really looks like a much more promising place from the outside than it is in the end. We tried the foie gras (which was mi-cuit, not fresh) and the scallops, and were left indifferent. It is worth trying if you stay in the hotel and you do not want to go elsewhere, but not to go there expecting something special.
