“Ibiza Gran Hotel”

The facilities were all 1st class. 2 pools one just for adults with huge sun loungers on a upper level.I was there in the second week of August and although the hotel was fully booked it never seemed crowded at any time. Plenty of sun loungers by both pools. The bottom outdoor pool is ideal if you have small children as not to deep around the edge and sun beds in the pool !The service was good throughout the hotel.
The rooms were very nice, clean and spacious, with ipod docking stations, plasma TV.
A 10 minute walk takes you into town, or plenty of taxis around if you need one.
15 euro ride to the airport.
2 minute walk to Pacha nightclub but never any intrusive noise.
Overall very good.

We were excited to stay at hotel for our honeymoon! Our excitement turned to disappointment when we entered our room to an obnoxious smell. We also quickly realized that our so called "king size bed" was simply two mattresses pushed together, each of different height leaving a space and uneven levels for someone to sleep on. Furthermore the shower door would not close. Imagine my hubby having to hold the shower door shut while I showered and I had to hold the door close while he showered.

We brought these concerns to the matter of the front desk manager Lorena. She assured us that the issues would be addressed promptly. When we returned that night, we noticed that the shower door had been fixed. The smell had only improved minimally, yet the mattresses were still uneven and proved again to be uncomfortable to sleep on. The next day we again spoke to the front desk manager and she assured us that the bed and the smell would be fixed. To make a long story short the smell and bed where never fixed and we have attached pics below.

Frustrated that it was now the third and last day of the trip, we requested to speak to the general manger, who we were told was too busy and we should speak to the night manager. We were frustrated that we were again being passed off. That final evening of our stay we spoke to the night manager. He stated that he could do nothing to help us as we had received a promotional rate of
$700 a night!! Apparently paying a premium for the rooms in Gran Ibiza hotel does not guarantee quality!!

We invited the night manager into our room, and he basically dismissed our concerns as not worthy of his time.

I have read through the reviews on trip advisor and apparently no ones concerns has received more than a half sincere apology!!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!

this is the hotel ibiza was lacking until now. amazing location in the marina botafoc with great views to the old city and the sea. the hotel is simply fantastic with exquisite decor and top service. two swimming pools (including one on the upper deck for adults only). the rooms are spacious and very well designed, each with a terrace. you may not like as much the "shower in the closet" if you are a bit claustrophobic but you will love the bathtub/jacuzzi next to the bed. a great great hotel. will definitely come bak !

We stayed a week with my wife and even met friends there fortunately. Very nice rooms and terrace; pool is excellent. Despite the great beaches of Ibiza (the best in Med), you feel comfortable to spend hours in the hotel pool. Good food, good spanish wine, good service and quite efficient guest relations. Best locations for parties but not only. You need a car to explore the Island.
Perfect Breakfast and Room service, some few details to improve, same soap 5 days, only one etc..
Global note 8/10. I can't see better in Ibiza

The facilities were wonderful - the rooms, the pool, and the spa. The food was excellent, particularly the seared tuna salad. As the beaches aren't great on Ibiza (unless you use a jet ski to get there), it was incredibly nice to have a couple of beautiful, yet not overly crowded, pools right at the hotel. The service was strong throughout the hotel, and the only issue I had was taken care of quite quickly. Loved the rooms with an outdoor terrace and jacuzzi. It was a bit removed from the town which for me, was nice. It was a quick taxi ride over though catching a cab back can take a bit of time. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: I strongly suggest the first floor rooms with outdoor terraces that have a jacuzzi and area to layou...

This is a great hotel, good location for the airport, clubs and getting around while you are in Ibiza. The pool area is fantastic, we liked sitting at the top pool which was away from all the families but still fun. Beds were very comfortable. The only strange part of the hotel was the bar, we were the only people who were ever there, I would skip this and head straight out to town as the atmosphere is terrible.
