“Great hotel ! Great location ! Great staff !”
Reviewed July 28, 2014 via mobile

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in July. After having a bad experience with Ryan Air at Charleroi we reached a day late, but all it took was one email and the hotel kept our bookings, even in peak season. Staff was one of the friendliest that we have come across at any hotel in Europe, they were helpful through out our stay. The location was superb !! Our sea view rooms were excellent. Hotel is at a quite location but meters away from some of the best restaurants in Ibiza. Highly recommend Fusion Restaurant at figueretes beach. All the big clubs are 10 Euros taxi ride away from the hotel and ibiza port is also 2 Kms away. Hotel is on the expensive side and yes the rooms are a little small but the sea view and the location totally make up for it. Hotel pool is also well maintained and the bar serves some great Sangria's. Only negative thing I can think of is that the breakfast is only served till 10, considering every one in Ibiza gets up late after a night out. My wife and I both are in love with Spanish hospitality, It's only second to Indian hospitality. Thank you Nautio Ebeso for a great holiday !

We arrived on Saturday and were put in a room that was completely not in line with what was advertised. No balcony, and not big enough to even accommodate two suitcases - one had to be unpacked in the bathroom!

Our friends who booked with Expedia and paid 1/3 less for the hotel, were in massive rooms with big balconies overlooking the sea. These rooms were lovely!

Note the hotel charges 6 Euro per day for Wifi - and also 16 Euro for use of the safe!!

We spoke to the hotel who said they were fully booked and could not move us.

When we called Travel Republic customer service on Sunday, they said they would move us the same day. They did not even call us back on that Sunday, let alone move us.

They also did not call is the following day.

At 4.30pm on the Tuesday (48 hours later), Travel Republic Customer Service called to tell us that a room in the hotel would become available on Wednesday and that we should speak to reception. 48 hours THAT was the solution they provided.

When we spoke to reception on the following morning, we were told that actually we were supposed to have spoken to them BEFORE MIDDAY on the Tuesday, and the room had been given away.

When we complained to customer services at Travel Republic, they denied that they had said we were to talk to the hotel on Wednesday and were supposed to speak to them on Tuesday in the morning. Interesting that - as we were not informed in the voicemail at 4.30pm on the Tuesday (which I have as evidence) that we had in fact needed a time machine also to have notified the hotel before midday that same day!

Interesting also that Travel Republic did not look for alternative accommodation for us.

Interesting also that they did not even bother to reserve the room in the hotel that we clearly had explained would satisfy us and simply left a voicemail for us to speak to reception. This is following at least 7-8 phone conversations between us and Travel Republic.

In fact Travel Republic told us that if we wanted to move hotels - they would generously refund us £54. Off our £1500 booking.

Room Tip: Sea view is the only option!!

Our hotel was extremely clean and good service, nice view but a little boring location. Pool area not with music or access to bar, it's kind of open to public too. The bar has no food, only toasted sandwich and if you want expresso you should skip that.

Stayed here for 9 days in June and booked a sea view room. If you are staying here I would say it is essential that you book a sea view room, the view is fantastic and it is nice to sit on the balcony and watch the activity in the bay and at night it is lovely listening to the sea. The other rooms that are not sea view will be facing the road where there is no view at all, other than of the road. The hotel itself is nice and has a modern feel about it, the bar and terrace are nice and relaxing, there was never a problem getting a sun lounger. It is however excessive that the hotel charge for wireless - which has intermittent operation the further you go from the reception, they also charge for safes and for towels for the pool - which is eventually refundable. Went half board, the breakfast is fine, pick and choose etc, they have little idea however about tea and I'd advise you take some yorkshire tea bags with you and use those, they also don't seem to understand that people have milk in tea as there is none where you get the hot water etc. The evening meal element is very hot and miss, more miss than hit, as the selection isn't massive and it has been sat there a period of time usually, they do cook items for you also depending on what they have on, they always have pizza on etc. the problem is the restaurant has no atmosphere, no windows, no natural light, in the evening there are not many people in there. The location is nice and quiet near figeratus beach, so walkable into a Ibiza town and the other way to Playa D En Bossa, there are plenty of nice bars restaurants etc on the front near the beach and during the day the ferry to Formentera goes from a 10 minute walk away. Overall it is a nice hotel, probably a bit over priced, however I would probably not book half board but would definitely book a sea view, as that is certainly worth it.

Room Tip: Book a sea view

Other than that this hotel is bad. Very expensive for what you get. Tiny rooms, tiny bathroom, ac is barely working. No room service. And after the price you pay for the room, you are asked to pay 4 euros for the safe box in your room. Staff is rude and not helpful.

Stayed for 4 nights mid June. Location great, room lovely, terrace and bar perfect. Couldn't ask for more!! Ten minutes to the old town with some super restaurants, 25 mins from the lively part in the other direction so do-able if you could be bothered. We went for a look and that was enough!!!

The pros- good location, walking distance to ibiza town, plenty of decent restaurants nearby(although we preferred to walk into town) seems to be the nicest hotel around this area, chilled out location. The pool is jutting out onto the sea which is nice and plenty of space around the pool. Impeccably clean. Newly renovated. Decent breakfast. Loved the bar- beautiful views, great value drinks, friendly staff, it's fab! Great for an aperitif. The bar is the high point!

The cons- expensive hotel . The beds- the double was two singles pushed together, not connected, terrible for couples as you fall through if you lie in the middle- it is dangerous and awful, when we contacted reception we were told that only three rooms had actual double beds- shockingly bad. I also would not go half board(we didn't) the restaurant lacks atmosphere as only a very small area had any sort of view, and the dinner mood looked mediocre. I also felt the area around the pool, and indeed the pool itself- could be renovated - its dated. The pool is not heated and is very cold.

All in all, fix the beds, don't charge for wifi, don't charge for the safe, and I would come back, at the moment I couldn't recommend this hotel because of these limitations, it's just not good enough for the high price
