Got recommended by friends. Held my bachelor here and was more than happy. The pool had a dj every day. The terrace opened in the afternoon and is fantastic. The small club behind the reception is good for socializing when you get back from partying and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms are a hit and miss. Since there were plenty of us we kept everyone happy by swapping. The ones overlooking the pool with the balcony are brilliant but there's rooms with no balcony which are very small. Overall fantastic and excellent service.

Dear Guest,

Firstly, we would like to thank you for providing a review about our hotel as every review allows us to maintain our high standards, and even improve on our services if and where necessary.

Being a boutique hotel we understand that there are variations in room sizes and that not all of them have balconies and unfortunately this is unavoidable due to the hotel´s size. However, we feel that part of the beauty of our hotel is it´s size, as the fact that it is small allows us more time to focus on the customers´ needs. Honestly, we really are here to help, and no request is too big or small. :)

We hope to have you back soon.

Warmest Regards,

All the Team.

We all loved the hotel..one of my friends found the Es Vive online and we checked out the reviews and pictures and booked straight away. From the minute we walked through the doors we fell in love..The service from reception to the roof terrace was so nice and friendly it made us always at ease. It really felt like coming home.
The food was lovely. The dj playing music daytime for the pool always got it so right too.
The room we had overlooking the pool was great, we woke up to sunshine everyday and really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching people come and go.
The room size was not huge but very clean and stylish with all ammenities..Elemis too!!
The nightime bar was a lot of fun and great to come back to at anytime..Jamie was lovely!
Overall, i would for sure go back as it exceeded any expectations we all had.
I travel always very well and can happily recommend Es Vive.

Room Tip: choose a superior room if possible but you spend most time socializing anyway!!

We stayed at Es Vive for a long weekend in September to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday and had one of the best weekends ever. We were a group of about 16, mainly couples and a few singles! Sarah and the desk staff looked after us all so well - from checking in and out, to sorting out taxis, booking spa treatments and confirming restaurant and club reservations. We had a lovely, quiet room with a view out to sea (ask for high up). The rooms are on the small side, but this is Ibiza so it is not a holiday destination you go to to spend a lot of time in your room! Our room was extremely clean, had a nice view, was decorated well and had everything we needed. The hotel catered perfectly for all our group's needs - excellent breakfast (for those who got out of bed in time), lovely chilled pool area with good music, amazing massages in the spa (the best I have ever had), an all night bar/club where we could carry on partying and great service around the pool and in the hotel in general. The highlight of the hotel has to be the exceptional roof top bar - it has amazing views over the Old Town and to Formentera, as well as great cocktails and a fab ambience... we only wish it stayed open a little later! The hotel is a great location for getting to all the places we wanted to get to so we only ever spent 10 mins in a cab (unlike many of the other places we have stayed in Ibiza). All the other guests in the hotel were really friendly and we reckon aged late 20s/early 30s and up! We all want to go back next year and can't wait to stay at Es Vive again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room high up (quieter), looking out over the front of the hotel which is where the pool an...

I've been going to Ibiza for several years and had heard a lot about Es Vive but never been until this year. We went in a group of 4 (2 couples). The hotel absolutely lived up to expectation and then some! From reservation through to check-out we were very impressed with the customer service we received from the reception staff.

It's fair to say that some of the rooms are quite small - our first room wasn't huge, but let's be honest you're not spending much time in it other than sleeping when in Ibiza. The large terraces in each on the other hand are perfect for a few drinks before going out or ordering some room service.

We had an issue with the air conditioning not working in the room after our first night. We were upgraded to a larger room with a pool view, also overlooking the sea in the distance. We immediately decided that it would be worth our while going for the superior room next time we came!

Service was on the whole fantastic. Scott's bar on the roof terrace - just wow. We loved spending afternoons there relaxing on the beds discussing the night before and getting ready for the following evening. It's also a great place to get to know the other people staying in the hotel - a really great vibe amongst everyone staying there.

I was really surprised to see some negative comments about breakfast - we thought it was excellent - a great mix of hot and cold options. The nespresso tablets were a perfect pick-me-up after a night out. I was particularly proud of being the only person in our group making it to breakfast every morning we were there - well done to me.

The Experience Bar on the ground floor is another highlight of Es Vive. Whether going for a drink before or after the club, there will always be a friendly crowd and a great team of bartenders there - in addition to some good DJs too. And expect some nice chilled beats during the day too whilst you're having cocktails by the pool.

Speaking of cocktails - an honorary mention has to go out to Es Vive's Espresso Martini - just have one whilst you are there. You will keep on having them after that.

Our only gripe, and it's a small one, was having the same member of the waiting staff question us not paying our full tab on 3 separate occasions. Not sure if she had it in for us, but it seemed that way after the last time it had happened!

Overall we had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back next year. Guys, my question is how will you improve for 2014?!

Had a great stay at this place - my first stay here, and on Ibiza. Friendly and competent staff, nice food, chilled laid back atmosphere. Breakfast was tasty and you should order fresh stuff in addition to the buffet. The other guests are a nice bunch too. Will be back next year.

Whilst it was only our second time in Ibiza, we will DEFO be back to Hotel Es Vive!

We stayed at an Apartment first time round beside Pacha but opted to be situated in between the Town and Playa de'n Bossa this time round. Hotel Es Vive fitted the bill location wise, could it live up to it's Trip Advisor reputation? Our answer is a nutsell was YES!

We used the Hotel Transfer Service which was waiting for us on our arrival from Manchester. The transfer for quick and very comfortable. The only problem being that we didn't have any Euros on us to tip - sorry Driver, next time maybe :)

On getting to the Hotel, we were greeted by two Receptionists who were more than happy to help. Although we arrived before Check-In Time, our room was ready and therefore we rushed upstairs to see if the rooms could match our first impression of the Hotel.

On entering our room we were hit with a nice cool, fresh air conditioned breeze which was great! The room, although small, was functional, had a balcony, tv, dressing table, large bed and bathroom with toiletries. The shower was great and the mini fridge also helpful to store water and sun tan lotions. The decor was very cool/funky which was matched throughout all areas of the Hotel we visited.

The other areas we visited were to bar/dining area, pool and rooftop terrace:

Bar/Dining Area - Lovely part of the Hotel. Could dine in or outside. We had breakfast each day (full English, pastries, cereal, juice, meats, tea/coffee etc) which was included as part of our 'package' and also snacks throughout our stay. The food, although maybe seen as pricey to some, was AMAZING and we ordered at least one snack/meal per day.

Pool - Right next to the Bar/Dining Area with twenty/thirty beds. There was also another area close to the pool with around ten/fifteen beds, chairs & tables. The Pool Area seemed to get the sun all day and was so chilled. Music streamed from an Ibiza Radio Station was played from around 11am until 6pm but it wasn't your 'normal' Ibiza sounds, just chilled grooves :) Basically, what the Doctor ordered after a nightout!

Rooftop Terrace - We were only in this part of the Hotel for a few hours during our stay but it had a very similar vibe to the Pool. Chilled Grooves playing through the speakers and around five/six 'beds' to lounge about on. You could see for miles from the roof, spectacular!

I can't think of anything else to mention but the Staff who were Top Notch! I can't remember all their names, sorry, but every single staff member that we spoke to was brilliant! If they hadn't been, we wouldn't be returning. They all seemed genuinely interested about where we were from, what we had planned, if we needed anything etc. Honestly, just ace from the moment we arrived.

Roll on 2014! :D

Room Tip: Ask for a Pool View if you can although a room at the back of the Hotel (like our one) gets the sun...
