Basic but modern and air conditioned rooms. I've not stayed at somewhere with shared bathrooms since backpacking but was fine, they we43re always very clean. Fab location, on a great plaza in central Ibiza town. Restaurant outside nice for a drink but service terrible. Very rude staff lets it down.

Great place to stay! The hostel has recently been refurbished and looks great. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds, lovely crisp white linen and smart bathrooms. I love the atmosphere of the place - the staff are lovely and very friendly and helpful. It's perfectly placed for restaurants, bars, buses and taxis and gives you a flavour of the true Ibiza. Breakfast is on top of the room rate. The restaurant is just outside the hotel on the square and is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by! The food is good and reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back there next year.

I was in Ibiza for a long weekend to enjoy the beach and evening drinks with friends. So I wanted somewhere convenient and straight forward to stay. A friend recommended the Hostal so I gave it a go. I booked a single room and knew in advance that this would not have an en suite bathroom.

The room was simply and stylishly decorated with a big window that looked onto the street and square. it wasn't too much of an issue using shared bathrooms - as they were kept clean and tidy. The location was great - being on the square right next to the fort, I had easy access to the shops and transport by day, restaurants and bars by night. And the staff was helpful too. Breakfast was not included in the rate, but an "American Breakfast" (freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, bacon, egg, bread, toast, jam) only cost €9 so that wasn't bad. If you just want somewhere simple to stay, this was pretty good.

Hotel is in a great location. Rooms are very clean and are good value for money. Only downside is that the hotel is situated in a square which has numerous bars which are open until the early hours of the morning. To be honest this wasn't really a problem unitl the last night of my stay when I was tired and couldn't sleep because of the noise at 3am. However, given Ibiza's reputation I was perhaps a bit unrealistic to expect it to be quiet. The bars and restaurants do have a great atmosphere and my sister stayed here with her 5 year old and had no problems sleeping!

Ibiza was fantastic, and I'm not exactly young!!! Beautiful place and friendly people. Would recommend Formentera, although ferrry is expensive. Talamance beach is very relaxing.

Ibiza has great vibe. Relaxing, fun and beautiful. Would recommend for all ages!!

I stayed for four nights late December and enjoyed my sty very much, the location is great and being in Eivissa in a quieter time it was nice to have the buzz of the restaurant downstairs which served some good food and wine. It proved a popular meeting point.

The room was small and basic but modern and fulfilled my needs. There was Aircon/heater which managed the room temperature well, the shower pressure was good and plenty of hot water. TV Channels were basic, but the wifi reception was very good throughout the hotel and a good speed. I only remember seeing one free socket in the room, so if you need more i'd recommend taking an extension. The staff were polite at reception, a bit hit and miss with the waiters though, some came across as a little rude to be honest though 1 was great at helping me with my Spanish.

Once again the location is great, everything I could have needed at my short stay was within sensible walking distance I had no need for getting taxis etc, though the furthest point I got to was Bar Keepers which was a great night out too.

I would defiantly stay here again, noise could be an issue in the busier times of the year but you're to expect that in such a location. I stayed in a standard double room.

I spent more thad 3 nights in this hotel. The room was very nice and very clean. The hotel itself had an interesting concept, having a very nice cafeteria with terrace. The location is good, although some noisy until late if you have a room at the plaza-side.
The real bad thing about this place is the service given by the waitors: totally unprofessional. I have been all over Spain, and I am quite used to the Spanish way of giving service. Also my Spanish is more than OK.
The way of serving by the waitors reached sometimes the limits of unpolite behaviour.
Nobody behaved in the slightest way as If they recognized me (staying for five days).
One male male waitor even didn't speak one word (really!) when he was attending me and my table. In contrary, waitors had plenty of time to talk with eachother.
I do know it was until the end of the season, but this was just total lack of professionality.
The service at the reception-desk was ok but very basic , not really client-oriented
So, if you like to be taken as a person having your drink or food , do'nt go to this hotel.

This is the second time in 2 years that I stay in this hotel. The 1st time I had a broken air cond. for 4 out of 5 nights. No one showed up to even try to fix it. That is a problem when you have paid up front. You are left without a choice.

I gave it a second chance, and this 2nd time some friends had problems with their room. One of the emplyees (don't know her name) seems not to care. Since we payed up front and the hostal is always fool, she won't even try to help.

the positive poits are: nice room, close to the harbour, shops, restaurant and a few clubs. But if you have a care beware of parking space.
