Toxic fumes from the air ventilation system in the 5th floor room made us very unwell and quite sick for about four days of our holidays. The Hotel management admit they are aware of this ongoing problem. However it took two complaints and referral to the Manager to get another room on the 4th floor. There was no acknowledgement or gesture from the Management for the fact that we were ill or the inconvenience they caused. It appeared that they were inconvenienced by the complaints and it was tiresome for them to have to deal with it.

The Hotel caters for a number of Airlines so has a large and quick turnover of guests, which is obviously what they prefer to deal with.

Rooms and bathrooms are basic, tired and dated and not worth the money being charged. It's 4* prices but in reality it is a mediocre 3* ,at best, for business purposes.

Pool and gardens are nice but there is a security issue, as other people can access the area also., and they put up warnings about this! The Hotel is in an area that has seen better days and it's a 20 minute walk to the city center.

When checking out after our stay there was no acknowledgement of the problem the Hotel had caused, or even an enquiry if our stay was enjoyable or anything at all; it was just pay your bill and go.

Overall very disappointing for the prices they charge and it is not 4*. Never again!

Room Tip: Try for another Hotel for the money you will spend here.

My partner and I have just returned from two weeks in this hotel and I have to say we had a very negative experince.
In the morning on day two we became aware of a very bad smell in the room. Much like the smell of sewage that you occasionally notice on the street in parts of Ibiza but more intense and pungent.
Initially we got the chamber maid to confrim it and she called reception from our room and spoke to the front desk. We were fobbed off with various excuses including problems with the ventilation system and the direction of the wind. While the smell faded a bit, by day four it was back with a vengeance and we had both become tired and ill upon waking. I have NEVER felt so sick on holiday before. We were totally zapped of energy and realised that whatever gas was being released into the room was having a toxic affect -even wtih the balcony doors open. Waking up to this smell after a sleepless night was just awful.
At this stage the manager became involved and explained that the hotel were AWARE of the bad smell and that it was exclusive to a couple of rooms on th fifth floor only. He offered us the first floor which has views totally obstructed by palm trees and having paid a premium for an uninterrupted sea view, we refused.
We were eventually offered a room on the fourth floor. Problem solved. But upon the effort of packing up and moving into the new room it took at least two further days for us to feel well again and the hotel staff dealing with us seemed mildly annoyed with the inconveniencce caused to THEM!.
If they were aware of an issue with fumes in the room the gave us it beggers belief as to why they would have assigned it to us at all, and without warning, knowing we were staying for two full weeks.
We have stayed in some fabulous and some not so fabulous hotels over the years and have never been so dissapointed with a room. It spoiled our first week and left us stressed and sick-an actual health hazard. We are not demanding or fussy guests in any way but being put into a room that is uhealthy is totally irresposible and unacceptable on the part of Los Molinos.
Other than that the hotel was ok. Gorgeous pool area and views. Pretty comfortable sun loungers. Good breakfast buffet. Staff are fine generally but it seems to be more of an airline hub than a longer term stay hotel and upon paying our bill there was neither a "goodbye" or "did you enjoy your stay".
Also you must pay a euro per bag for the privellage of weighing your luggage beofre heading to the airport should you need to. A little bit mean spirited, I thought.
If you are assigned a sea view room on the fifth floor in the hotel please be careful. We will not be returning any time soon.

We have just returned from 10 days at the Los Molinos Hotel. Stayed in double room with pool/sea view. Room was cleaned every day and had lots of storage space. Booked b&b and the breakfast was very good with hot & cold choices. The pool is large and very clean with lots of beds & parasols. Pool bar serves drinks and food all day. Staff in the hotel friendly and helpful when asked for any info. Walk along to esplanade in 5 mins or into Ibiza town in 15 mins and get a taxi home . Airport to hotel 10 mins. Great holiday, the weather was brilliant.

Room Tip: Pool/sea view rooms are worth the extra, we were on 4th floor. The lifts were always available and c...

Your room and the hotel interior time-travels you back to the 70s with pretty much unnoticeable efforts to modernize. Stay here for the location and if you get a good deal. Wifi service is semi-soviet, like in many Spanish hotels.

Nice hotel in Figuretas, Ibiza. Hotel looks nice from outside but the hotel details are really poor.
Unfriendly staff at check-in, double rooms to street side so that you can not sleep before 4 am. and wake-up at 7 am. (Only the expensive double rooms are with pool view)
Private Pool area open for everybody, no security, so that it happens in June that some guest bags are stolen.
Breakfast ok, but not enough space for all guests. Breakfast room to small.
Spanish hotel stars 4 BUT only Spanish stars. Worldwide max. a 3 star hotel and to expensive.
There are a lot of other good hotels in this area !!!

Room Tip: Book a room on the 5 floor

There's nothing very wrong with this hotel. It just isn't great either. The location Is fine with a nice view of the sea and rather attractive gardens. The beach chairs are comfortable. The bedrooms are sparse but reasonable but nobody would want to spend any time there when awake. The bathrooms are small and feel a bit cheap. Breakfast was pretty poor - no fresh fruit, greasy bacon, cheap juices, poor coffee. The reception staff are helpful and efficient. However in my week visit they only twice had clean beach towels and the free wifi worked less than half the time. Overall this hotel is ok and feels like a tired 3* it's easy to like but hard to love.

Stayed at Los Molinos last September for first time and have just returned from it again. The Hotel is currently undergoing a re-furb but we had no complaints anyway. Found hotel clean with large rooms and the Pool and Pool area are amazing. Sun loungers round the pool can be moved under the trees in the lovely gardens for shade if you wish, or use the umbrellas. There is a Pool Bar which is very good with tables and chairs under cover. We booked a sea view room with balcony and the view is fantastic. Would not book any other room. There are only 5 floors and we have been on the 4th floor twice. Requested 4th again and got it as views fabulous from 4th or 5th. And the Buffet Breakfast is also excellent. Out of hotel on to street, turn left and on right just down a bit are some steps, take these which go up then across small road and down at the other side, turn right onto main road and you are metres away from Ibiza Town, approx. 15 mins stroll. Or, from hotel down on to Promenade where there are lots of lovely restaurants and bars to choose from. All good, especially the Chinese next to the also excellent fab Fusion bar & restaurant. Hoping to return again in September and will most certainly stay at Los Molinos.

Room Tip: Higher floors with sea view have fantastic view.
