This year, we got a bigger room than last years. There was air-conditioning in the room too! Sadly, they have taken away the toaster and kettle, and the view of the sea from our balcony was obstructed by a huge pine tree. Nonetheless, still a good place to stay in whilst in Ibiza, as is handy to go into Ibiza town and Playa D'en Bossa. The maids come in daily to give the room a quick clean and change the towels daily. There is a nearby supermaket, less than 100m away for all the essentials.

My wife, 9 year old daughter and I have just returned from a week in Jabeque. Firstly let me say this was a very nice hotel with helpful friendly staff and the rooms were kept immaculate by the cleaners. The location was fantastic, amazing sea views and a short walk into both Figueretas and Playa D`en Bossa. Also it is located very close to the Aqua Bus ,which is a cheap and enjoyable way to get to Ibiza Town. The Aqua Bus also does daily trips into the island of Formenterra which is well worth the trip and has to be seen. However the only problem I had with this hotel was the fact that there wasn't one family or any children in the entire hotel on the week we were there, so because of that I definately wouldn't recommend this hotel to families. This hotel's clientelle was exclusively clubbers who were noisy and some very rude as to be expected, however the hotel enforced a policy were all music was off by midnight. So if clubbing isn't your thing you will at least get some sleep.

I stayed here from 22nd-29th August with a friend in room 415. The view from the balcony was amazing; it overlooked one of the pools and had a fantastic sea view, lovely to wake up to each morning. The actual apartment itself was larger than what I was expecting too which was a bonus. The shower was very powerful; always a good thing. We were self catering and found the fridge cold and big enough to store the basics. There was no kettle but not a problem as neither of us drink hot drinks and there were no forks in the cutlery but again not a problem as we bought our own plastic cutlery! The air con worked a treat except it leaked just behind the main door. We informed reception and the next day the hole had been filled in, however, this didn't last long before it started dripping again but we put a towel in a bucket to catch the drips and left it as that because it didn't bother us at all. The cleaners visited each day and replaced the towels and made our beds and the staff were very friendly and understood English well. There were two pools; one quieter than the other, both had lifeguards which was good. Our flight home was in the evening but we couldn't get a late check out but that wasn't a problem as there was a room by reception where our bags could be kept and the sister hotel next door had a shower we could use and we were given towels and complementary toiletries to use for it. I'd definitely stay here again if I ever want to go back to Ibiza as it was close enough to the beach and some lovely restaurants but not too close that you can't get a decent nights sleep.

Room Tip: I think all rooms have a sea view but the higher the floor the better the view, there are only four...

Just back from a 3 night stay at this hotel. I think overall it was good value for money. It had great views, it was far enough out that it wasn't too noisy, but also within walking distance of nightlife of playa den bossa. You can also walk into the old town too. The rooms were clean, which is all you need really and staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Can't wait to come back to Ibiza and will probably stay here again.

Myself and 11 friends stayed at this hotel from the 10th-17th August. I stayed in a 2 bed apartment which was spacious and the aircon worked a treat. The sea views from my our balcony were stunning and the kitchen facilities were more than adequate. There are two pools which was more than enough for the nuber of guests. They only serve at the pool bar until 3pm which a shame but the staff did not bat an eyelid if you brought food in to the hotel and there was a good, cheap pizza place opposite the hotel and a supermarket around the corner so you don't have to go far for food. The drinks ranged from 10euro for a cocktail, 3.30euro for a beer and only 2euro for a wine so not too bad.

The only thing I found very annoying is the fact that we were only given one room key between 4 of us which was impossible to manage as we were all coming in at different times. The idea is that if you go out you leave the key behind the front desk but once one of us went back and picked up the key to get into the room, the rest of us were left without a key and were unable to wake the person up to let us in as you could not hear the door from the bedrooms due to the layout of the apartment. We had to keep going back down to reception to pick up an extra key and some of the reception staff got very rude and grumpy about giving out extra keys. This is something they should address.

There is a bay with restaurants and bars just along the sea front and Hotel Es Vive is on the same road as the hotel and has a lovely late night bar inside the hotel that opens at 10pm and has its own DJ and really good cocktails.

Taxis to San Antonio are around 20-25euro if you want to go to Cafe Mambos/Cafe Del Mar to watch the sunset.

Room Tip: Sea views is a must

This place is a perfect example of why people choose not to go on european holidays. Location is very good as are the views, everything else is buried in an 80's package tour. Rooms are pretty basic aparthotel - old furniture and easy to hear outside noise. That said, I got a reasonable nights sleep. Reception area and public areas very uninspiring. Pools are average and surrounded by rundown concrete sundeck populated by plastic sun beds. There are some luxury four poster loungers around the pool also that were a good option. Staff are pretty rude which I suspect is the result of dealing with a high volume of partying young people which is of course half of what Ibiza is all about. Breakfast was simple and good but I did not try the evening meal or pool menu.

I guess this hotel is no better or worse than the majority of hotels in the vicinity but I am used to getting a 4/5* hotel in Dubai/Asia/Turkey/Egypt/USA for £160 per night. If I were to return to Ibiza I would just swallow hard and up the budget. For young people with low expectations that just want to be in Ibiza then this place will be fine
