We stayed in Callao for a month, and ate at Santa Lucia several times. Although the menu is not huge, everything was tasty and very well cooked. What lifts this restaurant from the ordinary are the stylish touches: the tasteful decor of the restaurant itself, which makes it feel like a real restaurant, rather than a tourist trap; and the nice little extras - the amuse-bouche of homemade soup ,and the 'cafe gourmand', coffee with three tiny desserts - lift it from good value to excellent value. The service was friendly and efficient at all times. I take the point about the wine list made by frankv; however try the house wine before you order anything else - we found it perfectly quaffable.
