had a great time at this hotel. we had a studio apartment which was very well equiped and had a fabulous sea view. the staff are very helpful and speak very good English. The Atlantic had very good facilities. pool is good size with plenty of sunbeds. There is a quiete grassed area overlooking the sea if you dont want to sunbathe round the pool. there is also a roof top sun bathing area with jacuzzi which was very nice.
the hotel's restaurant is vg and I can also recommend the fish restaurant directly opposite the Atlantic and Chez MiMi.
there is a local bus 5and for a few euros visited Los Gigantes and Los Christianos.

Room Tip: I think all the studio apartments which can sleep 3 have a sea view. about 20 feet from the sea. the...

We stayed in a junior suite/superior room for two weeks. The room itself was great (room 109) - on the end of the building (an extra window), 62 square meeters, huge bedroom, fantastic sea view and it looked fresh (the whole hotel improved in 2011). Staff was nice. The clientel is typical "old" people and families with young kids, as the location is in a small, quiet village north of Playa de las Americas. The drawbacks: the bathroom was tiny, the cleaning not that great and it costs money to use the hotels gym-facilities.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with sea view, on the end if possible. These have afternoon/evening sunlight. The oth...

Dear Client, Thank you for taking time to write about the hotel. The apartments are really big and with great views. We are very privileged to be on such a beautiful spot on the Island. The hotel has been reformed several times and next time, for sure, the bathrooms are first priority. Hope to see you again.

This is a nice hotel in a nice location. It is some way from the major tourist restorts but this is an advantage - nice quiet village with a few quality resturants. The clientel is mostly Danish, at this time of year older couples with a few younger families. We spent the first few days around the pool before hiring a car for two days to head up into the mountains. Room 110 was on the 1st floor facing away from the sea - odd room numbers would probably be best for getting a sea view.

Helpful and friendly staff and guests. Breakfast was very nice in a nice setting overlooking the sea and pool. Stray cats in the and around are a bit annoying. Happy hour at the bar between 4pm and 5pm gives 2 for 1 on drinks. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Odd room numbers

Stayed in Room 137 - corner room on the south wing with a relatively large south facing verandah with sunshine from sun up to sunset - the best room in the hotel?

The rooms are a nice size (137 slightly bigger than the rest on that floor as it includes the width of the corridor). The rooms were nice and clean on arrival and the 4 days they were cleaned during the week was well done. The wi-fi worked well in the room though was occasionally a little slow (but who cares when on holiday, just relax a moment). The general condition of the rooms was good for a older hotel (couple of tiles in the corridor outside the bathroom made a noise when stood on; kitchen unit door hinges a bit loose) and the furniture was in good condition.

The hotel now lock the car park with the key kept at the Reception which has solved the problem with non-guests filling it. It was never more than 1/2 full during our stay.

We were self catering so no comments re breakfasts, etc, There is a supermarket 50m from the door with a reasonable range of stock and fresh bread by 08:30 each morning. Also 4 small pubs over the road (Red Lion serves excellent food and great staff).

We did not visit the new beach just beside the hotel which looks very nice as we had a hire car and spent most days exploring the island.

This is hotel is recommended for a relaxing holiday.

Room Tip: The south wing has all day sun and are quiet; those facing the pool do not get sun until late mornin...

My girlfriend and I traveled from Oslo to Tenerife, with appollo.no. We didn't know in what hotel we were going to live. And we were so surprised and glad, that for us was chosen Atlantic Holiday!
Very good hotel, helpful stuff, nice swimming pool, restaurant with an awesome view.
Appartment was huge, with an opportunity to cook ourselves. We'd like to come back some time!

The last two times, we went to Tenerife, last time in septembre 2012, we stayed at Atlantic Holiday Hotel, we have booked our next holiday, and it goes to Atlantic Holiday Centre in april '13! We are a couple passed 60, and everything we claims for a good place to have a good holiday, we find at Atlantic Holiday Centre! Good service from nice staff, excellant restaurant, lots of space, nice rooms, super sorrounding with the ocean just outside youre balcony, nice pool. very good service. Ex. I needed at special seat for the toilet and went to the reception to ask for one, half an hour later it was put on my toilet! ... And the restaurant beats every thing we have met before! Go there!

This was an charter trip with my wife and our 3 yrs old son, and heard this hotel was just perfect for families travelling with either with small kids or teenagers, we spend 1 week here 21 oct, 2012, we booked a rental car from home, and had a picked up from the south Sofia airport right after arrival, the hotel is located around 29 km away from airport, but really easy access to the hotel if u have a GPS :o)

the hotel offered free parking, which is really good considering most hotel would have demanded a fee, however bear in mind the hotel has around 20 parking spaces, and is only for hotel guests, however people coming for dining around the area will park there since the street is pretty packed with cars, observed in several occasions, people didnt really care, and also the ones heading towards the beach wld use the space too !! anyhow we checked in the hotel and this is an 2** hotel but in many ads u might have seen its sold as an 4**** star hotel, the hotel does offer all inklusive packages, and many other things thats why its able to be advertised and an 4**** it has restaurant, pool, kids pool, play room in basement, snack bar ect. free wi-fi, however the last bit didnt quite work as it shld, most of the time it was just a question of being patient ( which i dont have ) even sometimes in the lobby area it didnt work either, most be the major traffic or hotel didnt buy enough IP addresses, but when it worked i guess it was good, but thats it.

we got room #104 facing the street and moutains, dunno if we had the kitchen underneath us, but once we open the balcony door, OMG u could the staff talking loudly everyday, ( was out most of the day ) but once u come home and want to sit outside, noises from the staff and across the street the very few bars, but it wasnt the bar guests that bothered us, so if u can avoid that room number. The room had a kitchen, living room with dinning table, bedroom with closest, and bathroom, big enough for even 4 people travelling for sure.

they dont clean the rooms everyday nor change ur towels, its every 2 day, but i ask for fresh towals at front desk and they gladly handed over them over, the staff was really friendly, polite and very helpful.

the hotel is located at the end of the road, so not so much traffic there, and a beach located just down the road, and mostly small rocks and stones, but surely a place to take a dive, not crowded at all, but must warn that this particular beach isnt for small kids, well at least if the accompanied with an adult coz the waves is pretty big, experience a elderly couple just smash into the waves by just standing on the shore, and because they were totally unware the tides too, held my son at all times, otherwise its quite an sight to see these waves just pounding the rocks its quite amazing .....there is an restaurant le delphin right next door, u gotta try that and sit outside and watch the sunset OMG it was just amazing, and ur right on top of some cliffs and a pool, looks great, the food was really good, and cheap and good meals, we tried it there 2.

but in general some good dining places around the neighborhood, and a nice area as well compared to las Americas, party town, located 20 min drive from there, but thats were the shops are, we went during the day quite nice to see something else, worth the visit.

El Tiede the volcano crater it is an must, however the road getting there isnt for weak souls, if ur ever been in San Francisco driving those streets this is far more worse its either uphill in very narrow streets, and same down, u gotta have some driving experience :o) but its only for a few km, but its all worth the trip, we came down in one piece and the car too :o)

visit the Santa Cruz de Tenerife the capital around 1 hr drive from Callao Salvaje, and Puerto la cruz nice harbour city located east of the crater.

overall nice, cozy hotel, not many young people living there,m mostly seniors when we were there, i would recommend the place for sure.

Room Tip: pick a room facing the ocean :o)

Dear Client - thank you so much for your comments. The wifi is a little slow some times, do to the fact that Callao Salvaje is still in a "land zone". We offer free wifi in the reception and the rooms. I hope we will soon be able to get more MB/GB, but at the moment unfortunately it is no posible, not even paying. Hope to see you again.
