“Beautiful house near a stunning beach.”

A gorgeous villa with quality fixtures and furnishings. A great pool and lovely views. A car is essential but only minutes from a beautiful beach which is perfect for small children and adults alike. Nearby Starla and katelios bay have lovely bars and restaurants. A fantastic week. Thank you - we'd book again

Really lovely Villa, well furnished and good sized accomodation,and very close to a beautiful beach.
I would advise you hire a car, as its around a 15 to 20 minute drive to local amenities, which provide you with a good selection of restaurants, bars and shopping facilties, but on top of that, its well worth taking a few trips around the Island as the views are absolutely breathtaking.
The Villa's pool kept the kids happy during the days we stayed in, and in the evening the BBQ was great to relax with our friends and enjoy the sun going down.
Highly recommend this if you want to get away for some peace and relaxtion, but still want the option to be close enough for other forms of entertainment.

Dear Maria
As you can see from all the previous reviews the villa and our service has always been 5 stars. On this occasion a mix up with your arrival date meant that the villa was not thoroughly cleaned for your arrival which was shortly after the previous guests vacated. However, as soon as you contacted me, the mistake was realised and our cleaner was despatched straight away and the villa was cleaned and the linen all replaced.
Despite this, you said you were still not happy with the results and so the cleaners were asked to go again and I understand that you are now happy with the second clean.
I have apologised directly to you and again make a full apology for not having the villa ready for your arrival and by way of recompense, you should have had some wine delivered to you. Once again, I can only apologise as its both our aim and the team in Kefalonia that look after the villa, to have it fully ready for guests arrival.
So that this mistake is not repeated I have implemented a system between myself and Kefalonia that double checks arrival and departure dates.
If I could wind the clock back so that this did not happen I certainly would but we are all human and mistakes do occasionally happen. As you can see, we have not abandoned you, but instead reacted immediately to resolve the situation which I hope proves that this was a genuine mistake and not a case of not caring for our guests.
I hope you can accept that my apology is genuine and that the wine makes up for the few hours that you had to put up with the villa not being ready.
Could I please ask though that in future, you respond to owners emails or contacts through the booking site as I sent you several messages to which no response was received. It was only for this reason that the cot was not available at your arrival. The cot is stored safely in the garage and only brought out when guests request it. Again, we managed to resolve this within a few hours but please, in future make any additional requests like this clear in your booking to avoid future misunderstanding.
