Had two visits last week- a late lunch for two and dinner with friends. Stifado was the best I've had and their special lamb in lemon sauce was very nice. Beef chop also especially good (pretty much what we call rib eye for 9€!).
Excellent all round and real chips of course.

We have visited plenty of Skala's highly rated restaurants on TA but rather than just work through the list we thought we'd introduce somewhat of a wild card. This place was stunning. It did take us a little by surprise and now we're wondering if we'll be unlucky enough to have a bad meal in Skala. For starters we had spinach pie and haloumi souvlaki, both were delicious. Mains were sausage in a spicy tomato sauce (sountzoukakia) and pork kontosouvli, both were fantastic, particularly the pork which was outstanding. Once again we were very happy with our choices, so much so my girlfriend is still talking about it and went to the kitchen to speak to the chefs to say how impressed she was (via a translator -waitress). One of the best aspects to this restaurant was the wide selection of veggie dishes, something that took us by surprise as this appeared to be a charcoal grill house. Would highly recommend it.

Went to this restaurant four times a great find just off the high street. The food was delightful cooked to order and very reasonable and staff friendly. Hope to be back next year.

Set just off the main road, we had the treat of children learning traditional Greek dancing in the school/church rooms opposite and the music - it was lovely. Food was beautifully cooked.

We decided on this taverna as it was slightly off the beaten track, away from the main street hustle and bustle.

Very busy, but we found a table to the side of the restaurant overlooking lemon trees in the garden next door.

Food choice was good and we could see it all being cooked fresh from where we were sitting. As usual it was family run with mother being the main chef in the kitchen.

Quality of food was excellent, great value and lots of it.

Service was friendly and welcoming, even on a busy night like the night we visited.

As the title of the review says - definitely worth visiting.
