There were 8 of us from 9 to 76! The villa was amazing and very well equipped. You would definitely need a car, but this meant that the location was very peaceful, although only a few minutes drive from Skala and Katelios. The nearest beach was lovely and the water still warm for October. The beach cafe was still open and we would recommend the home made burgers. Unfortunately, lots of the tavernas were shut, apparently because Thomson had stopped flying earlier in October. This was a shame, but meant we made use of the bbq at the villa. Word of warning: try to avoid falling in love with the cats! We did and our new addition from Turtle Beach villa has just arrived back in the UK, in time for Christmas! Lovely memories - well worth a stay.
The villa is just under an hour from the airport and directions provided made it easy to find. It is exactly as described in the letting particulars and has absolutely everything you would want in a villa. Everything looks new and fresh and is kept very clean. We were there for 10 days and the cleaners came twice to change sheets, provide clean towels etc. The pool is kept nice and clean and there are plenty of towels and sun loungers. The beach can be walked to in about 13 minutes but the path there is steep in parts and was quite overgrown. We had to pull apart thorny vines that crossed the path and dodge quite a lot of thistles. Not a walk to undertake with small children or carrying beach umbrellas, towels etc. Having a car is a must in this location and there a lots of beautiful beaches within a very short drive time. The agent is Karron and she met us at the airport and visited us at the villa. She is very helpful and can provide you with any assistance you need. I highly recommend this villa.
Well placed villa close to the tourist beach side of the island. Just a few minutes into Skala for shops restaurants and tavernas.
The villa's pool was wonderful as was the interior too. It is a wonderful place for a mixed generation family holiday.
