Just back from a week at Andreas Studios and apartments. Very very good.
Location of the apartments is at the top of the main street of Scala, which also happens to be a fairly steep hill . You are well away from any other tourists and noise, but the resort is very peaceful and quiet anyway. If you're not reasonably fit and able I'd suggest you look elsewhere in the town as there also quite a few steps down to the pool.
The rooms are well equipped by Greek standards even down to a proper shower cubicle and therefore no need of the usual, useless shower curtain. My wife took a kettle and hairdryer but they were actually suppied in the room. You have everything you need to cook breakfasts and light meals, no oven, but a little ingenuity can overcome this.
We had maid service everyday and linen was changed once in the week we were there. This was more then adequate.
Looking back through earlier reviews some comment passed about prices of the food and drink here. We didn't eat here but looking through the menu the prices seemed to be very similar to the town. This applies also to the drinks. We didn't find these a problem.
Some other comments criticise Elizabeth, but I think this lady runs a very tight ship and it's her way or no way. I wouldn't like to upset her, but the place is immaculatley clean safe and tidy and at least you all know where you stand. After all, it's her place.
The views from the apartments, if you are lucky enough to be on the front are stunning, I'd stop here again just for those.
Would I go back again? Immediately and often.
