My family stayed in a chalet during the January school hols, sorry late review, but I'm wanting to share because we absolutely loved it there. The chalet was amongst nature & we saw kangaroos hopping around every day. My girls loved the pool area, mini golf & paddle boats! We also had lovely meals in the restaurant with a magnificent view of mt bulla. We will definitely be back one day! Also the beds were very comfortable & chalet was serviced by friendly staff each day. Great resort, thanks!

Room Tip: We preferred the chalets, more peaceful to sleep away from the main building.

This hotel was OK, nothing special and given the price i think i did expect a bit more. the chalets were quite small for a family of 5 but were reasonably well equipped. disappointed that the bar closed around 8 pm on our first night, as we had arranged to meet friends for drinks there at 8.30 pm. Whilst Paul in the ski shop was very helpful, the quality of the ski equipment was ordinairy to say the least. ill fitting boots left 3 of us in pain for most of the next day. a few hassles with check out due to a mix up in bills has now been hoepfully resolved. restaurant was OK, but a refusal to tally the bill for us and then split it was too hard. wine selection poor and $12 corkage a bit steep. despite all that, great location, great weather and snow was amazing. these very quibbles did not detract from an amazing 3 days of skiing at beautiful Mt Buller. would i stay again? probably not..

Dear gabrielle12,
Thank you for taking the time to post your review after your stay at Grand Mercure Pinnacle Valley. We are sorry to read that you felt that the resort was nothing special. Please accept our apologies. We are glad that this did not stop you enjoying your ski holiday.
I have contacted the General Manager regarding your comments. He has explained that all of the queries raised upon check out have been resolved. He also explained that Dot did agree to split your bill, albeit taking some time to do for a table of 19. Paul has been asked to check the ski equipment for any defects. All feedback is important to us as it assists with the constant monitoring of service and quality. Again we thank you.

Its a great place to stay for a ski trip to Mt Buller. The pay a lot of attention to the finner details and have a lot of services right there on the property: ski shop that charges to room, drying room with secure locker for each room, restaurant, bar etc. Great views and although is just off the highway still very quiet.

We were back again as we loved it the first time a year ago. We actually thought the place had improved, new management, friendly staff. We could have attended their Free Poker Night which sounded like a lot of fun, but too tired after being on the mountain all day.
A big thanks to Paul in the onsite Ski Hire shop, very helpful and best customer service :) Prices were standard to everywhere else but more customized service of fitting without the ques.
We made use of the down stairs drying cupboard - so all good to pack away snow gear for the trip home.
Children loved the (free) mini golf before heading home. Will next time love to use the spa.
We'll be back ;)
