This restaurant has a small but well presented menu. The black pork dishes are from local pigs. The fish is fresh and served either as a plain grill to preserve the flavour or you can have bacalhao, salted cod which has been soaked in milk for a day and then cooked in delicious casseroles or grilled. There is also rabbit, wild boar and shellfish on offer. For dessert, try the rice pudding. The wine is good and not over-priced and the meal starts with bread, olives and cheese to nibble while you wait.
The owner is welcoming and speaks good English and is a fount of information.
