Description: Small beachfront restaurant with some of the best local food we have ever eaten. The lady who runs and the restarant and cooks all the food we are told is the former chef for The Edge which was washed away during the hurricane. Food was amazing and she is is lovely and even explained some of her dishes which were not familiar to us.

We walked from our condo at the Turtle Nest Inn the first day we were in the Grand Caymans to this restaurant. It was recommended to us by Donna at the Inn. It was fun first of all to be able to walk down the beach to this place. Then when we got there we were greated I believe his name was Nikol who was so helpful in explaining things to us as some of the items on the ordering board were foriegn to us. (Oxtail Stew) We ended up having the curry chicken, fried chicken, and the catch of the day. This food is cooked with love in a small kitchen area by Nikols mother. He was very personable and we really enjoyed talking to him and asking about the island and things to do. He told us about his family and the restaurant. Also asked us if we were going to be on the Island for the Easter weekend. He even invited us to go camping with his family if we were going to be there. Apparently it is a custom to go camping on Easter weekend. The amount of food you get is a great value for the price you pay. It wasn't expensive at all and lots of food. More than we could eat. We ended up taking some back to the condo. I would recommend having Camanian money but they do accept American $ but had a little trouble figuring out the exchange ratio. Great local food, great prices, great service!! If you are in Boddentown stop by and get some good food!

We walked from the Turtle Nest Inn along the beach and returned by the road, coming to the Seaside Paradise restaurant. Being hungry we decided to have lunch. The young man, Nikol, was helpful with our ordering. I had curry chicken and my husband had pepper steak. We sat outside on the beach under a tree. Nikol set our table with mats and brought out our meals. Food was great with a local flair. Later Nikol came out to see how we were doing and proceeded to chat with us for quite awhile. He told about his grandmother's and mother's recipes and a bit of the history of the quaint little place. It was a sweet lunch in Boddentown where we felt welcome and our business was appreciated.

My daughter and I got a recommendation for this local restaurant when we were at the Botanical Garden. The young man and his grandmother were very friendly. We got twice as much food for the price as we expected and it was all excellent, especially the homemade cornbread! Our dinners were served with special homemade sauces and hot pickles.

Get the fresh catch of the day. Relax on the deck, probably by yourself, as this is a hidden gem, and watch the sunset.

A wonderful find for those who appreciate good local cooking and friendly service while seated overlooking the pristine beach and breakers on the reef. Time it for 3pm and feeding of the frigate birds (men of war) doing their aerial display. A rare treat away from the hustle and bustle. Excellent value, very good food and totally relaxing.
