Good food in a casual beach environment. We had roasted snapper with okra (don't be a hater!) on the day of our arrival as it was highly recommended and so close to our Inn.

We ordered the mahi mahi and grouper and had 2 meals each because the portions were so big. This is authentic cayman style food and we loved it. There are 2 sizes of meals you can order so if you don't have a refrigerator available for leftovers just get the smaller portion. Try it, you'll love the food.

Little fish hut just down from Turtle Nest Inn where we were staying. Lady's working there were very friendly and watching them fry the fish in black skillets was neat. Food is all fried, but the fish was really fresh and tasty. We just walked over and brought to go food back to our room. Was a lovely meal.

Had a wonderful local experience at this little hut on the beach. They are open just Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and serve fresh fried grouper and snapper. Be aware that the snapper is a whole grilled fish. We ordered grouper. It was fresh out of the fryer and the woman who runs the place brought it out to us as it wasn't quite ready when we ordered. She was very helpful and welcoming, though the other 2 ladies doing the cooking and serving were less friendly. The pickled hot sauce was the best we had on the island. Heard about the place from a local and glad we made the trip (we were staying on the north side of the island).

We made sure to visit The Grape Tree Cafe on our second visit to Grand Cayman. It is walking distance from Turtle Nest Inn and always one of my favorite meals on the island!
