No Swiss chocolate delight here! Even the cheese on the piazza comes from a tube. So disappointed we left canceling our room. The place was not just run down but dirty to.

We headed here for dessert because Lonely Planet mentioned a killer chocolate dessert. Our first impression of the place was one of decay - it looks like no one has even cleaned the walls for years and we were the only customers. The menu was quite wide-ranging and fairly cheap but the food was very disappointing, the pizza had the kind of cheese that comes in a tube so popular in the Philippines and there was not a single chocolate dessert on the menu. The waitress was friendly but I would never recommend that anyone eat here. We didn't stay in the rooms nor see them.

Lonely planet are wrong again here....I arrived in a storm and needed a room....They only have three and of course the most expensive was the only one available...780 with cable and a fan....it smelt musty and damp and the floor was grey from the usual layer of dirt found in the Philippines.. The room was large but the fan was so far away from the bed that it was neither use nor ornament. The twin beds had thin mattresses which were not so comfortable and tiny pillows. The crazy part was that if you purchased anything from the restaurant and wanted to take it to your room there was a service room charge. There was a charge of 100 peso for baggage store after checkout and everything had to be paid up front. There was no Wifi and no internet access. the young girls are friendly but say its the management not us....they sell pizza here but do not bother as its rubbish...get a 10 peso ride to town the pizza is better and they have wifi access. The hotel is located on the main highway so noise levels are high from the passing traffic.I later found a room down on the beach turn right off the ferry which had what is needed. This is a money maker not a backpacker friendly place so look around. The trishaw drivers know all so ask ...have fun

Room Tip: go somewhere else
