Amazing value, authentic food...just like Grandma used to make (if your Grandma was Italian and could really cook). We paid Euro67.50 for 4 courses, wine and coffee...could not believe it.

Only point - if staying by the lake you CANNOT walk here - it must be 30 minutes. Drive or get a cab...it is worth it...

I liked everything! the anti-pasta, the pastas, the main course (meat) and the dolce. There is no menu - you eat what has been cooked on the day of your visit. The service is friendly,

Excellent old fashioned trattoria style food: I recommend the fettucine al ragu' di lepre. Excellent hospitality. Great location. Only minus is the toilet which is located outside and can be chilly in the winter. We keep going back there even if we live in Milan, but it's worth the trip!

This is the real deal....no English spoken, but somehow we communicated just fine. This is definitely off the beaten tourist track, but easily found once you are "in the know". We had lunch there today and oh, what a treat! The osso bucco was amazing and everything is obviously fresh and homemade. I wish we were staying in the area longer, as we'd go there again and again.

This family run restaurant, is up the hill from the lake and off the tourist path - and well worth a visit. We have been several times for lunch and love it more each time. The restaurant serves all the local men and women at lunch. There is not a view from the restaurant but going up there gives you a great view opportunity. You can take the bus or drive.

Food is real home cooked Italian. No menu - they tell you what they are serving for the day. They speak a little English so sometimes I fake it and just see what shows up. Their house wines mix well with meals which are large portion so please go hungry.
