We have got to the point on Como of judging restaurants first on view 60%, then on style.
I mean how much damage can anybody do to pasta?
So the first step after checking the view is to see quickly if the menu has just one dish that is acceptable . Then we go in and review the menu at leisure at our table.
This place is off the clock for views AND the food and service is very good.
It is amazing to me to see lots of people would eat spaghetti and lasagne at pretty awful tourist places 50 metres down the road. They could be in a lovely place like this for the same cost if they just would walk though its gates. No one will rob you. It's quite the contrary.
