We stayed at Casbella for 2 nights in October -it was great.
the remarkable well-designed B&B was extraordinary, and on top of that -the wonderful hospitality of Enrico and family.
Breakfast was a gourmet, all served in beautiful dishes with great taste.
The rooms were well equiped-we took 2 rooms-one downstairs and one upstairs (5 adults+1 todler+1 kid).the rooms are big and comfortable and very clean.the big advantage is that it is very close to the town center-1 minute drive.
Wonderful ending to a great holiday.

CASA BELLA B & B

Casa Bella is a fine illustration of B & B as a universal style of holiday and business accommodation.

Enrico and Flavia are charming hosts with a good range of language skills. There is a comprehensive range of tourist information complimented by their intimate and extensive local knowledge demonstrating their understanding of the importance of their vital contribution to their guests’ experience. It is worth noting that children are catered for and made welcome.

Casa Bella is situated at Lesa on Lake Maggiore in a secluded but not isolated location, featuring houses in a variety of architectural styles, many with attractive gardens and shaded by the extensive tree cover. Lesa is a small lakeside town with a useful selection of local shops, and a few convenient excellent restaurants. For a special night Enrico’s suggestion of ‘Al Camino’ restaurant is highly recommended.

The highlight of a stay at Casa Bella however is the experience of the very personal and individual style in perfect harmony with its art deco architecture that carries the imprint of Enrico and Flavia. It is an uncompromising modern contemporary style featuring materials and fittings sourced with minute attention to detail. The en suite rooms have all the comforts of a 5 star hotel but with an individuality that is not possible to be replicated. All this is supplemented by a small balcony overlooking a terrace and garden, not to mention the artefacts and works of modern art that litter every nook and cranny.

Breakfast is the ideal opportunity to emphasise the warm and relaxing atmosphere of Casa Bella in order to dispel any impression of staying in a gallery. Served on the terrace, there are all the ingredients to start the day. Fresh fruit, cereal, fruit juices, meats, fresh bread and especially the ‘scrambled egg’ which is really a small freshly cooked omelette with tomatoes and other vegetables. A choice of cheeses such as goat’s cheese, mozzarella with tomatoes, and another cheese with a drizzle of honey, served with flair ensure the absence of boredom. The whole occasion is relaxing enabling guests to share their experiences and anticipations of the day.

Casa Bella represents a splendid opportunity to experience that style uniquely associated with Italy that makes a holiday a memorable experience.

A well decorated house and room, specious, very clean. Breakfast was very very nice and rich with vegetable omlets at the back yard. It felt very homy. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The only thing that could be an improvent is the bed which was hard (although we did sleep very well). Furthermore it really is inside a house so you share the kitchen and livingroom with the hosts. It was all fine only a bit akward at times. All in all - a very nice experience and we would recommend it.

Beautifully updated mansion. Our family (two adults and three teens) stayed on the lower level which worked out perfectly. Two bedrooms, full modern bath and a foyer, with private patio and access to the garden. Very attentive and cordial hosts. Historic exterior, wonderfully modern interior. Clever kitchen-in-a-cabinet and dining table/desk in the master bedroom. Fabulous meals presented exquisitely. Can't wait to return. Only flaw: no air conditioning and no screens, so we left the windows open for fresh air. Italy at its best.

We chose Casabella for our first trip with our baby (who is 6 months old) after reading the wonderful reviews here. As soon as we arrived at the cousy place, and met Enrico and Flavia, we knew we had made the right desicion!
Enrico and Flavia immediately made us feel at home, and arranged the extra baby cote that Enrico had bought that morning with sheets, since they had another couple with a baby. On the next day he was so kind to also provide us with a mattress for the cote, although it had a "built-in" mattress, in order to make sure that our baby is comfortable. In short, they really made an effort to give us the best conditions, and we were very satisfied with our gorgeously designed room.
The delicious breakfast with Enrico's personal special touch, is a whole different story! Every single dish we were served was made with love, and had the look and taste of a gourmet dish! Not to mention the perfect music and the beatiful terrace...
I'd deffinately say that all three of us reccommend you to visit this gorgeous place, and meet such wonderful and warm hosts. We hope to come back some day :)
Thank you, Enrico and Flavia, so very much for EVERYTHING!!!
