After many hours on airplanes and in airports we were looking for an inexpensive meal before we crashed and Al Lago seemed to fit. We were pleasantly surprised by the meal especially the salted meat with kidney beans and onions which we'd never had and turned out to be fabulous. Our waitress suggested we try it "raw" the next time so we went back and it was almost as good. We saw the raw slated meat on several more menus during our month long trip but this was the best we ordered. The wait staff was great and the location was better. The place was always busy and if we could not get a table on the water we enjoyed seeing what the other customers were having.
