This is truly wonderful , the most amazing setting , fantastic food and you will definitely want to go back. The staff are lovely and are always around if you need anything and can arrange almost anyhting from what i saw .you can eat where and when you want and I had the most amazing truffle pasta , and vegetarian taster menu . The taster menu is a must along with the fine wines and cocktails by the waters edge accompanied with fabulous canapés. The rooms are beautiful , I stayed in the junior suite in casa rustica which was fabulous , light and airy named pastore which had great views of the lake and is by the lemon groves . The room is decorated with the finest linen and antiques with beautiful old photos of Churchill painting under the magnolia tree , the place has an amazing history and the books in the villa are great to look through to see how it has been transformed . It's expensive but well worth it as their is nowhere else like it . Wish I was back there now .

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful as we did have a look in the villa and the photos don't do them just...

Well you can read below why this place is beyond
-flowers on arrival
-no check in right to your room
-free laundry service
- free limo service anywhere there and back
- food to die for best pasta EVER
-20 guests on my stay 50 max with 90 employees
-everyone speak English
-free Mini bar stacked
-friendly helpful waitful staff

If the above doesn't do it for you well this should. It's about going one step further. It's about being late going out to a local restaurant which kitchen closed and them re opening theirs to serve you till 1pm. It's about you asking what time brekfast closes and them answering we will always be open for you any time of day. It's about you sneaking out of the restaurant and asking them to put candles in your room and when you arrive they are all lit and flowers peddles are all over the bed. THIS defines a one of a kind hotel. Staff willing to go OVER the call of duty day or night on your time schedule .This is why this is a gem.TRUST me there is nothing like this any place else

Stayed for two nights in late June. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed with. True perfection at every level. Worth the price and exceeded all our expectations. Will be seeking to return every year, as it now sets the standard for a great hotel experience for me.

Room Tip: Take the Aquariva speedboat for a journey on the lake. A great experience.

We were afraid that it all would be too formal , but the staff , every person, was so friendly and helpful , from the check-in ( a bouquet for my wife upon arrival, to the dinner service, to the whole stay. An exceptional place, view, pool, service, dinner and breakfast..just awesome!!
bring the charge card..this is a once in a life-time experience and you'll pay. Dinner with 2 cocktails, and a good bottle of wine was over 500 euros, but we felt it was worth it,,,the amuse bouche wa amazing and two rounds, the excellence of the food and prep( we saw a chef on a ladder clipping flowers and herbs in the afternoon for the dinner prep!!) was beyond anything we have ever experienced before. Trust me ..if you have the mopey, even for just pnce this grand hotel will deliver!!.

During our holiday at the Lake, we found the amazing historical Villa Feltrinelli and without doubt booked a lunch at its restaurant. The hotel was lovely decorated (antique), the personnel was very polite and helpful. Our lunch took place in 2 areas of the Villa, the welcome apperitive was lovely (see pic number 1 with Dom Perignon and bio vegetables from the Villa's garden). Later they gave us the best table with amazing view of the lake for the lunch (pic 2 and 3). The food is made by their bio vegetables and plants of their own garden and the fish I ate was from the lake. Unforgettable experience!

I have been fortunate to stay in a number of renowned luxury hotels, but have never experienced service, quality, and elegance like we did at the Villa Feltrinelli. Words can't do justice to how wonderful the place is. The beautiful grounds and view, the decor steeped in history with wonderful antiques, the restaurant with absolutely delicious food, the room (we stayed in the Muslone suite and loved it), the lovely, warm staff, the music in the room (selection of jazz, classical, opera or relaxation music - all one needs!), the bath products (full size Aqua di Parma), the complimentary and well-equipped mini-bar, the free (and efficient) laundry service... I could go on. They have mastered everything down to the final detail. It is faultless, and we will certainly be returning regularly.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Muslone suite, and loved it. It was beautifully decorated, with a nice view of the...

We stayed in a Junior Suite in the main villa, on the first floor. The suite had high painted ceilings, many large windows overlooking the gardens, and was very tastefully and elegantly furnished. The bathroom was superb.

The settings of the Villa in the park, with its shore on the lake is spectacular. The staff members are extremely professional, helpful and friendly.

I agree with other comments made about the food served in the restaurant. It is delicious and sophisticated, yet a bit too fancy for dinner every night one is there. We did try a few other local restaurants with good food, but none had the spectacular settings of Villa Feltrinelli. Having alternative menu choices with simpler dishes available at the Villa would have encouraged us to eat there every day.

All in all, our stay there was a memorable one, and would definitely not be the last.

Room Tip: Chose one of the suites in the main villa for a grand setting. Rooms on the first floor have high ce...
