All the staff we met on our one night stay were very friendly and welcoming which really added to our experience.

Unfortunately the bedroom walls are paper thin and we could hear conversations in the next door rooms and corridor.

The food served is tasty bar food - the chowder is very good. Great Guinness. Breakfast was fine.

Sadly wifi wasn't functioning during our stay.

Great location and lovely staff but hotel didn't feel like a 4*

We stopped off at The Cuan for lunch. The food was very good, especially the homemade bread which was gorgeous and the Seafood Chowder. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we were only there for a short time but thoroughly enjoyed the food and hospitality. Great Game of Thrones door.

We took the ferry over from Portaferry to The Cuan for dinner. After a stroll around Strangford we settled down to a fine meal. The service was good. The seafood chowder was delicious. And be sure to try the bread pudding!

We were at the Cuan for one night only, attending a wedding locally. The welcome was amazing. The room although small had everything required and was very comfortable spotless.
Breakfast was fantastic with full menu, unlimited coffee/tea and the best service ever. Nothing was too much trouble. Tables and chairs were shifted to accommodate others of our party. Local knowledge and a real wish to please went with a flexibility not often experienced. A truly relaxing environment in a beautiful part of the UK.
