We were in the area and went for midweek lunch to the Spinnaker on recommendation. First impressions were that the decor was o.k. but nothing to write home about. When we arrived around 1:30pm there were only a couple of other tables occupied. When shown to the table we weren't initially offered menus, so requested these after a few minutes waiting. We ordered main courses from the menu and waited as a few more customers arrived. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy but for the majority of the time only one person was taking orders and serving meals. We had to wait for 40-45 minutes until our meals (chicken / fish) were eventually served. When they arrived they were very tasty - no complaints with the cooking. However I definitely think they could improve the speed of service.
