The food is excellent and the patio is gorgeous. A nice place to relax and enjoy some wine or Pisco cocktails. The staff is attentive and friendly. It's all that plus it's reasonably priced. Did I mention the patio?!

This was the best English tour I took in South America. Very interesting to learn about the history and how pisco is made. Pisco is barrel aged and great too. Also the grounds are absolutely picturesque. The bar and restaurant is set in a shady oasis amongst the garden and vines. I highly recommend anyone going to the elqui valley to visit here.

The tour is nice, but i think could be improved if in every stage (4) have a video to show the process. The final taste of the different types of Pisco is great (the cup is a gift) I don´t know if the tour is available in english.

The proces is 10 Eur, 12 USD, 6500 CLP. The restaunrant is very good but slow (the lamb was great and the typical "pastel de choclo") For 4 adults and 2 kids the prices were near of 100 EUR.

Pisco Mistral is very nice place and tour to spend a half day. I would definitely recommend. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the fact that they do not provide English Tours as advertised on their website.

Destilería Pisco Mistral is a wonderful place to visit for a day trip. The drive in from La Serena is beautiful, as is the distillery itself. Our group speaks some Spanish, but we booked an English tour in advance by emailing contacto@destileriapiscomistral.cl (this is listed on the Spanish version of their website). I received a prompt email confirming our booking for a 3:30pm English tour. We were able to park in a large dirt parking lot just past the distillery, for 1,000 CLP per hour. We paid for our tour in the gift shop area (6,000 CLP per person) and were guided around the distillery by Sofia. The tour was fairly short, but interesting, and Sofia did a great job of answering questions. The tour ended with a tasting of two piscos (you get to keep your glass); you also get a free drink at the bar, the pisco sour is delicious. The atmosphere of the distillery is gorgeous, as there are cobblestones, trellises, and greenery and flowers everywhere.

Our group purchased several bottles of pisco as gifts; the prices at the distillery are definitely better than a grocery store we checked in La Serena. You can also get a personalized bottle that you fill yourself if you like. Up the street there is a small market selling jewelry, magnets, and other small souvenirs. If you have time, stop at El Cobre in Vicuna (on the way from La Serena) for delicious ice cream. Overall, this was a lovely way to spend a day!
