Lots of stalls with crafts, scarves, throws etc make this a colourful centre. We stopped for a snack and a beer in the sun but the church. There is a playground for kids in the middle.

suggest you catch a local bus from Tilcara. Not enough here for an overnight stay, but great for a day, Seven hills is in away from midday sun as the light and colours is better

Nice to visit with very typical places and market. In the center of the town impossible not to find. Around it the small church and the Cabildo, all beautiful.

This large square brings buskers, artisans, school kids, the elderly, backpackers and suit clad gentlemen all together in the centre of Salta! Great people watching and a pretty churchbto boot!

The village square has mature trees and places to sit. On one side is the obligatory church. Vendor's stalls cover the other three sides. Many shops and restaurants are across the street. Overall it is a relaxing spot.
