I have been welcomed very well in El Refugio. I was tired and they proposed me a delicious dinner. The bedroom and bathroom are excellent, both decorated with a local discrete style. The bed is highly comfortable. Breakfast without anything pretentious, but with all the good things i needed to start a nice day! I unfortunatly satyed only one night...

Me and my husband stayed 3 nights at Refugio de Coquena as a part of our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. The staff there are so nice and sweet and help you with everything you need. The rooms are clean with the most beautiful view and the location is very good aswell.
This hotel, and Purmamarca, is defintely worth visiting and I would highly recommend it!!!

the hotel is close from the center town but with the private and amazing view of the 7 color mountain, the property gives a calm and eco friendly feeling
the personal is the top of the cherry, they kind enough to answer a big biggg number of questions from basics to life saving advices on how to get into bolivia and chile!
totally recomendable!!

I had a room on the first floor and my balcony had views directly in front of the Cerro de los siete colores which was beautiful at sunset and sunrise. The bathroom was a bit old, but was sufficient and clean.

The service was outstanding and was the best service I encountered during my time in Argentina. Steven was very warm and welcoming and spoke fantastic English. He went beyond his call of duty any time you asked him anything and was very helpful in sorting out my accommodation issues in Salta.

The breakfast was nice and there is wifi in the rooms and main reception area.

The hotel is a short walk into the main square which is nice and peaceful. The main square can get quite busy as tourists descend for day trips and the surrounding streets become a parking lot for big double decker buses, so it's nice to stay outside the main square.

I would definitely recommend staying here, if nothing else, but for the service which was the best in all of Argentina.

The hotel is in the most beautiful mountain range I have ever seen and well worth visiting. The hotel is exceptionally clean and inviting. Our room was cheerful, bright and comfortable and even had heated tiles on the floor (we were there in the winter). Esteban the hotel manager, was extremely helpful, warm and attentive. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome, and he was very understanding and helpful when we had a problem with a travel agency. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I highly recommend the walk through Los Colorados and seeing the town square.

Went to Refugio de Coquena "out of season"/in May. Found a beautiful, calming place in the midst of the seven coloured mountains. What a view, such poetic scenery- it made me feel so calm. Just a few minutes away from the hotel you can go hiking in the mountains. After a long OR a short trip, you can enjoy the village of Purmamarca with its excellent atmosphere and friendly people. Even if you can get any kind of handycraft from near or far, this "pueblo" has got an authentic feel to it. Staying at El Refugio was really enjoyable, the staff was super friendly and helpful and I felt most welcome. Excellent service! (thank you, Esteban&co)
I could stay there forever. Hopefully I will be back:)
