We stayed at the Cleve Spa on an overnight spa package, which was great value for money!
The treatments were lovely, staff were fabulous and the evening meal superb!
We wanted a relaxing weekend, and that's exactly what we got.
It was my second visit, and we can't wait to return!

what a fantastic location, value for money is excelent!! The hotel has been recently decorated to a very high standard and is clean to a high standard. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful with a can do attitude. All of the facilities are well maintained and to a high standard. As a group we have now been back 4 times and every time the experience has left us wanting to go again....SOON !!!! I have only praise for this fabulous hotel spa and the people who run it

I stayed at this hotel with two friends on the 'overnighter' spa package, which was £90 each. I was very impressed with the friendly service and the excellent value for money. The hotel itself is a gorgeous building and we were pleased with our sunny room which was spacious and had been recently redecorated. The bathroom was modern and spotless. The food was excellent (both dinner and breakfast) and the restaurant staff were polite and attentive. Despite it being a busy weekend for the hotel (there was one large hen party and a couple more groups who I think were also having the spa package) we never felt neglected and there was always someone on hand to help. It did feel quite busy when using the spa facilities but there was not much could be done about that and to be expected. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel and the spa package. Excellent value and very relaxing!

Having booked a xmas meal and a night at this hotel with work colleagues, we found the hotel rooms to be extreemly basic, some rooms didn't have taps on the baths. The food was just ok, wasn't even given water on the tables.... All in all, a very disappointing experience and would not recommend to anyone.....

We make regular trips to the west country and were booked into the Cleve because our first choice of accommodation made a mistake with our booking. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was spotless with a walk in shower. We were the only two people dining in the restaurant area adjacent to the bar but the chef produced some tasty steaks and the wine at £15 a bottle was pretty good. There was a birthday party going on elsewhere in the hotel but it didn't disturb us. Breakfast is the usual hot and cold buffet selection but some things can be cooked to order like poached eggs, smoked haddock etc. The gym was well equipped for a hotel. There is a small swimming pool though we didn't have time to use it. We twice drove past the short road that leads to the hotel (it is next to the Texaco garage) so watch out for the sign.
