Traditional pub menu served with a smile and good quality accomodation for short stays just off the busy M5 motorway.
Less mobile visitors should avoid bedrooms 1-5 which require mountaineering skills !

Stayed one night, really impressed. Rooms clean and look like recently renovated. Comfy beds. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast good. We thought real value for money. As others have said no parking but pay and display just across the road so not a problem for us. All in all good stay

This is genuinely one of the best b&b's that we've stayed at. A stop over on our way from Sheffield to st Ives. Impeccably clean room, modern and traditional. Food is fantastic. Wonderful atmosphere even on Monday evening. I can say this with confidence as both myself and my partner have a pub and restaurant of our own in Derbyshire and we have run our own B and B . This place is well worth a visit! Ask for room 10 is beautiful.

Had the pleasure to stay for 2 nights in this delightful Inn whilst visiting my daughter for her graduation.

A warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful giving it a friendly family atmosphere. The food was tasty and plentiful and a good selection of ales and ciders.

The single bedroom was very clean and the crisp fresh smelling bed linen a delight at the end of a long day. The spacious shower and jet stream of water was unexpected and much appreciated.

If you are going out until after closing hours just check where you need to go on your return as the main entrance is shut but the staff are very helpful.

Highly recommended and very good value for the competitive price. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I am back in the area.
