We stayed here in October during the harvest of the grapes - which go to make the best English wine I have tasted yet. The reverse aspect of the cottage means there are clear views from Aller Hill across the Levels to the distant Quantocks - a truly beautiful landscape especially in autumn - from the upstairs living area. Sitting outside and watching the sun go down beyond the vines, whilst sipping a chilled rose was one of the highlights of our stay there... who needs the continent ! The Barn has been very well restored using tradition methods and material - though the interior is modern and comfortable - including a jaccuzi style bath to relax in. We would definitely recommend this place as it's a quiet place to return to after visiting local places of interest.
