Always a warm welcome from the hotel team. Good for dining and welcoming also for those looking for a light meal coffee or snack. It is well appointed with many light, comfortable, well furnished public rooms. It has beautiful grounds and is a popular venue for weddings. We have also used the small board room for formal meetings. As it`s close to where we live , we haven`t stayed at the hotel, but we assume bedroom standard must be high judging by bookings from tourists, wedding parties and some businesses.

I stayed here originally for 2 nights, but I was having such a good time I booked an extra night. This hotel is good quality in every way.. usually good hotels but lack a little in something, not this 1! Fantastic food, rooms are very nice comfortable.. still running as a small family type hotel but has the professional attitude u need.

I would just like to say that we had a great welcome by the fantastic staff who were very efficient at booking quite a few of us in all at the same time. Our room was quite spacious with a nice bathroom with a good shower. Breakfast was lovely too with help yourself toast, cereal, fruit, croissants and muffins, with ordered main breakfast which was promptly served to your table. Plenty of coffee and tea with more if necessary. If I was ever in this area again I would have no hesitation in booking again.

What a fab hotel, staff were very friendly and exceedingly helpful. The hotel and restaurant are excellent, food delicious and reasonably priced. The location is great for North Wales and getting about.

Room Tip: All rooms seemed in a good spot. We were at the back on ground floor. Please note no lift at this hotel.

This is a good standard hotel located in just outside of the newly created city of St Asaph in north Wales.

On checking-in the staff were very helpful and friendly and the same members of staff were able to provide me with some local travel advice on departure which was appreciated.

My room was pretty basic was clean and comfortable although it could do with some modernisation. The bathroom, especially was a little dated and the shower positively Victorian, although everything was in working order so it wasn't really an issue.

I ate at the restaurant was good with well-cooked meals at a decent price. The waiting time was a little long considering there were only around three other tables occupied, but there was a wedding taking place in the garden so I guess this is understandable.

I would mark this hotel as "Good" if Trip Advisor had such a listing - average hardly gives it the proper credit but it is what it is. I didn't think that the hotel had anything to make it stand out to an extent where it would really deserve a "Very Good" rating. It is the kind of hotel you can find anywhere but this shouldn't discourage anyone from staying as what it did, it did well.
