“Lunch”
Reviewed February 5, 2014

It had been an excellent idea for my friend to book lunch on a Wednesday dinnertime because when i arrived just after 12 there was plenty of parking in the car park and it was fairly quiet inside, but it soon filled up. The place is really nice and the food was great. My friend had chicken breast with garlic & mushroom cream sauce, chips and salad, i opted for the cod in a mushroom cream sauce with chips, i declined any salad. The food was very nice especially the chips which were not 'frozen motorway' chips but hand cut.
we would definitely recommend the Bod Erw, but remember to book even for a mid-week lunch.

“What a lovely meal”
Reviewed January 25, 2014

We went for dinner, it is a beautiful building just off the A55, we were in a smallish room away from the main area with 2other tables, we were aparty of 10 people.

We all had very nice food that was hot and well presented. If I had a bad comment I would say we waited a long time for our sweets, although the main meal came quite quickly.

The staff were very nice and there was no problem with us paying individually.

This was a pleasant evening with good friends, good food, good staff in a lovely period building.

“Best restaurant in North Wales”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

This has been a favourite restaurant of ours for many years and even though it has been through some changes over the years the food is always delicious and exceptionally good value for money. The menu is varied and changes daily but booking is essential.

“Late booking, well looked after”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

On a short visit to my parents in Rhyl I wanted to take them to somewhere decent for Sunday dinner. At very short notice the Bod Erw were able to fit our party of 6 in without a problem. The service was extremely good and polite ad they were happy to cater for my father's special dietary needs. Portions were of a good size and the quality of food was very good. With it being a Sunday there was a set menu for the afternoon which provided excellent value for money. A very good dining experience and I will definitely be revisiting here the next time I am up visiting my family.
