My wife and I visited this Chateau which is in Aigle, Switzerland not Zurich. We did not think the visit was worth our time and effort. Except for a few interesting old wine presses and extremely large wine kegs, we did not fine much of interest. There is very little period furniture, weapons, or other items that make castles interesting. While the website says to follow signs to a free car park, we could not find either the signs or the car park. We parked in a nearby pay lot and walked to the chateau. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes as the walk uphill on cobblestone is not a comfortable walk in street shoes. This is one of the least interesting castles we have visited. We suggest you visit a fantastic castle, Chateau de Chillon, which is nearby in Montreux.
