I would have preferred if Cohan's had been a little more like the original in THE QUIET MAN. Whilst the service was very good, I thought the prices were somewhat eye-watering. The portions were only modest although thev bread was very good. All in all, I just felt it was a bit of a tourist trap.

This has just recently re-opened under new ownership, and it has been beautifully restored and decorated with a much lighter and airy feel. I had the crispy pork salad from the lunch menu, it was beautifully presented and a great combination of ingredients, it was DELICIOUS! The homemade bread basket were yummy. The service was friendly and professional. I'm already looking forward to going back to try the dinner menu!!

This pub has just re-opened in the past week (July 2014). The new owners have done a great job and aim to serve good food in a great location.
We had a light lunch and observed the more substantial dishes as they passed by. They make their own bread which was delicious.
The seafood chowder was nice but needs more fish. Early days and we'll be back soon to see how this welcome new pub and hotel works out. Best of luck to them.

The owner was very friendly! We also met a couple of other Americans. We had our picture taken at the bar that was a replica of the one in the movie! All in all, a great experience! One of the highlights of our trip!

Food excellent, portions fantastic, service was great and locals friendly. We did have a problem where their card facilities were out of order but we popped in the next morning and paid in cash. Excellent!
