Our family holiday was great! The place itself was so peaceful, the children were welcomed and a lovely touch, lots of baby products were placed in the bathroom as we had requested a cot. Lovely staff, food and a nice funky hotel!

We went to a wedding recently to this hotel. There was not enough room in the ballroom for all the guests once the dancing had started. Guests were sitting around the foyer and coming near the end of the night the staff made is very obvious that they wanted rid of everyone.

Just back from a brilliant few days at Lisloughrey, we stayed in a quay suite which was beautiful ,the room was huge, very clean and really peaceful .The receptionists were very helpful Anna showed us to our suite and told us all about the area and was so friendly throughout our stay ,she is a real asset to this hotel .
we ate in the restaurant while there and the food was amazing and very reasonable Jonathan Keane is head chef here and has a fantastic flare for food. we also ate in the bar one night and the food was excellent here also as was the breakfast each morning .Lisloughrey lodge overlooks Lough corrib and is a short walk from Ashford castle and its grounds so theres plenty to do on your doorstep .The quaint village of cong is only a few mins away .I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone ..

Room Tip: All the rooms look very nice but the suites especially as they are larger .

We were here on Business for one night. A great location for weddings.
The Hotel had just reopened after a month; the receptionist was extremely pleasant on check in and took us to our room which was out in a court yard. Clean, peaceful, and well appointed bedroom, with the exception of the postage stamp that resembled a TV.
We had dinner here in the restaurant and it was WOW, excellence without a question. Fresh Food, cooked by Chefs who love to cook. Imaginative and Creative in every way.
We had Surf n Turn followed by Fillet Steak with Egg and I had Duck followed by Fillet Steak with Egg. The Surf n Turf was Scallops and Black Pudding and was excellent; the Duck was slices of Barbary and was superb. The Fillet with Egg was very interesting as it was a perfectly cooked Fillet with an Egg Shell filled with Béarnaise Sauce on a bed of Mushrooms. Both served with Home Cut Chips. Excellent!!!!!!
Breakfast was a little let door, Orange Juice was concentrate and poor quality and Coffee was not great. Bacon and Sausage was good as was the Scrambled Egg. We had room service and for 4e extra, were well worth it.
Great Staff, all happy to work and Customer friendly. Well Done Guys....

From booking to paying fantastic.
Receptionist was very accommodating when we changed dates. They gave us a free upgrade to a Duplex suite and what a suite it was, By far the nicest room I have ever stayed in. Dinner was too good Too Much and breakie of Omelette and egg benedict was spot on.
Could not fault anything well maybe the weather ........

Room Tip: Try Duplex suites they will blow you away
