High priced but quaint. Small litte cafe with limited menu but very "local"in feel and only open limited hours.

After touring the Cong Abbey, I stopped to have lunch at the Hungry Monk Cafe. The menu had a good variety of lunch items. I had the special (see photo) and it was delicious. The cafe also has free wifi. I highly recommend this cafe.

Nice cafe with a small but tasty menu in the picturesque village of Cong, Co. Mayo. I had the smoked salmon salad, which had an eastern feel and had pieces of smoked cheese added in. Tasty, but could have used a couple more ingredients to compliment the Asian feel (some crunchy Asian veg, perhaps?). Mrs. Pablo had a more traditional ham wrap with delicious looking (I wasn't offered a sample!) off-the-bone ham, with some fresh skinny fries. Not quite what the Duke ate in The Quiet Man, but a decent lunch. The staff were very nice, it must be said.
