I cannot imagine staying in a place as uniquely located as this ever again. The lodge is nestled into the riverbanks of the Mekong. The accommodation is in the form of really pleasant wooden huts. The shutters open wide so you have fantastic views across the Mekong river. The staff are really friendly and the service is great. We stayed for one night as we were on a 2 day cruise from Chiang Rai to Laos. We ate there and the food was excellent. They brought us out a set menu which was included in the price of the hotel and there were definitely enough dishes for at least one or two more people. It is a fantastic experience waking up right by the Mekong and one that can’t be missed. Definitely make a stop here if you are on a cruise!
