This is the place that I've dreamed about... The beach is beautiful, on the north of white beach, and also private, the icecream-sellers cannot disturb you. The apartmans are big with a huge bed :) the staff is very nice, the manager and the owner are very friendly and helpful. The food are very tasty and they have also european food, if somebody don't want to try the philippines food. You can also go diving or snorkling, the sea is beautiful!!! Thank you so much for this beautiful days!!! Highly recommended for couples!

This is a perfect getaway from the busyness of Cebu. The staff are relaxed and friendly, the food is delicious and fresh. The rock pools this time of year are magic and the snorkeling is great too! We stayed just two nights but would have loved to stay longer. There is quite a bit to do in the area and you should plan at least 3 days to fit it all in:).
The staff are accommodating and easy going. The bar/restaurant area is a great place to just hang out and meet the staff and other guests.
The drive from the airport is gorgeous - it takes about 2.5 hours but there is a lot to see so you won't really mind. There are several little cafes along the road to stop and pick up a coffee, sweet rice cakes (yum) and snap a few pics!
It is just a great place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Cebu.

Room Tip: All the rooms face the beach with easy access to the pool and restaurant - perfect!

I got curious about this resort after reading all the positive reviews. When we wanted a place to just chill, relax and get away from all the stress, this was my first choice... and I'm glad we went there.

The place was right beside the sea. You can literally walk into the open sea one minute after leaving your room. They have cabanas cleverly situated at the edge of the land/"cliff" so that you can dangle your feet in open air and watch the waves crashing below you while waiting for the sunset.

The food was great! Very flavorful and not oily or greasy as some Filipino cooking can be. The staff are very cheerful and ready to serve you with a smile. Our room was spacious and always clean. We had our own balcony where we could sit, read books and watch the sea.

I'd like to commend their manager, Melissa, for always looking out for us, anticipating our needs and making all the arrangements so convenient. A huge thanks too to the owner Michael for generously leading us in a yoga session and showing us Moalboal from the rooftop!

The place itself is simple (no fancy frills), but in its simplicity, the hospitality and care of the people behind it shines through. I love the little details they add to make this place a home -- the small selection of books to read, the mattresses they set up for your afternoon nap, arranging activities we like... It was simply heartwarming. I will definitely go back there!

The Blue Orchid Resort is just awesome. We were looking for something that was quiet, homey and a resort that looked like it “belonged” on the island. The great reviews of the place are absolutely accurate and we were beyond happy at the hospitality, food selection and preparation and the overall feel of welcome at The Blue Orchid.

Both the property manager and owner are extremely gracious hosts and ensured that our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as it could be. The grounds were lovely and well kept; it felt like you were in a cozy garden/ocean getaway. It was very peaceful and relaxing and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Bonus was the great diving instruction that we received; Dino’s an excellent teacher and we were able to obtain our PADI open water certification. Moalboal has beautiful reefs around it that the boat will take you to, as well as their house reef which is quite healthy and colorful.

Another bonus was the driver that was arranged to pick us up to/from the airport. Lito was an excellent on the ground guide – make sure you ask him to please stop for some chicharon at Carcar City on the way to the resort. Nom nom!

If you’re looking for a quiet, gracious and beautiful retreat that has great food, accommodations and diving on Cebu, I definitely recommend staying at The Blue Orchid. We would for sure come back!

By far the best resort we stayed in, in the whole of South East Asia,

The management and staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Its such a relaxing awesome place to really unwind and chill out.

The food was incredible and the service was second to none we couldn't recommend this place more highly.
