I could not rate this villa high enough. There were four of us staying here in September 2015. The villa is incredible. A great outdoor pool, comfy beds and good kitchen facilities. It's so quiet around the villa and a short journey to the nearest town. We will be looking to return this year!

This was our first visit to Sakynthos - we stayed two days in the north of the island to celebrate a friends wedding and then travelled to Tragaki where we stayed at Villa Vatia for 7 days. What a wonderful stay we had! We found the villa using google maps but I would advise asking for clear instructions as some of the roads on map apps can be quite hairy (good advice for the whole of the island!)
The villa was amazing, brand new only completed a few months ago. Very stylish and immaculately clean with a cleaner every day which we weren't expecting but a great touch. The villa is fully equipped to eat in and have BBQ's and it was nice to stay in for a couple of evenings. The owners even popped in with some wine, lemons and tomatoes one evening, they went out of their way to ensure we had a fabulous stay. The pool is very clean and great position to get sunshine all day long, there is also plenty of shade to be had from the olive trees that are in the garden.
It is positioned quite centrally and is therefore great for exploring the island, we made trips to different areas almost daily but the villa is more than equipped if you never wanted to leave. Fabulous views of the mountains and sea.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday we would definitely recommend this villa to anyone thinking of visiting the island.

Had a fabulous time at Vatia Villa in September. The Villa is tucked away amongst the Olive Groves and is really beautiful.
Upon arrival, we were met by the owners, Vaso, Spiros and little Harry. Really friendly family and eager for us to enjoy our stay.
The Villa was spotlessly clean, (thank you to Helena who would call daily to clean the villa) as was the garden and pool area. Inside was really spacious with a well equipped kitchen and 2 large bedrooms and a good size bathroom. Outside area was very large, with a veranda surrounding the whole of the front of the villa, with plenty of seating areas either in the sun or in the shade. The garden and pool area is also very large, again, with plenty of sun loungers and seating areas and a large BBQ. There is even a garage to park your hire vehicle.
We had the higher level villa which had a lovely sea view and, on clear days, could also see Cephalonia.
There is a nice little restaurant about 10 min walk away from the Villa (Meraki), the translation of which, is exactly how I would explain what the owners have done with these beautiful villas! A larger selection of shops and restaurants can be found a little further in Tsilivi.
Thank You to Vaso and all the family for a memorable holiday at Vatia Villa. We will return.
