Just open for 6 weeks, the staff in this hotel/resort made us feel like they even wanted to lose money on us as long we would be happy. And we were...
Of course some things were not right, like a leaking shower door, but to compensate for that, 3 times a day housecleaning came to check on the towels. The food was wonderful, with incredible diversity. I was afraid of the all-inclusive concept, with all kinds of cheap alcoholic beverages for example. Not here. Want a Johnny Walker whisky? No problem. Coca cola light? Of course. Missed breakfast? No problem. get a great double espresso at the bar, and grab some chef made sandwiches. The water slides are wonderful, for the kids and mum and dad. The atmosphere breathed calmness and friendliness.
Business-wise, I'm familiar with luxurious hotel chains like Sheraton and Hyatt for example, but this resort tops it.

Before jetting off to the Eleon Grand Spa & Resort my partner and I constantly checked Trip Advisor's website for the latest reviews, anxious like most people because it is a brand new hotel which had only just opened and appeared to be still being completed....
Not one of the reviews we read could anywhere near have done the reality of this place justice you must must must see it for yourself it is amazing!! We spent a fantastic week being treated like royalty. The staff can not do enough for you, they are so polite and friendly and they are not pushy or annoying, most speak pretty good english. The rooms have the 'wow' factor and are really modern, immaculate with all the facilities you would expect and more from a top class resort. We were allocated a room in the block that wasn't on the main site but we were happy with this as it is only a very short walk away from the main building and it gave us some privacy and peace away from the pools and bars. Everytime we left our room (without fail) we came back to a clean room with fresh towels and bed linen. The pools are fabulous with plenty of beds. Due to the usual 'towels on beds at the crack of dawn' culture a couple of times we had to grab a bed from the beach but it is no problem really.
There are trips available, kids entertainment and activities like aqua sport and water polo available daily but we chose not to join in with these. The staff invite you to join but are fine if you choose not to. There is a small supermarket a short walk from the hotel but there was everything we needed available as part of the all inclusive package.
Every night we visited the Panoramic Bar which is a really tranquil place to chill out and look at the phenomenal views of the pools (lit up) and the sea. The cocktails are delicious and the staff quite literally keep them coming (I don't think we sat with an empty glass the whole holiday). Last but by no means least the FOOD!!! I cannot describe the food and do it justice. As a picky 'british' eater I have never tried so many different dishes. The choice available is above and beyond what you would expect for all three meals of the day, I defy anyone not to find something delicious to eat every meal time and give in to the temptation of returning again and again to refill your plate with pastas, fresh breads, meats, salads, fruits and puddings! I think both my partner and I should have paid extra for our seats on the flight back to Blighty!!

We honestly honestly can not fault the place and we hope that they continue to retain the quality of service and variety of food for our next visit!!

We have just come back after 2 fantastic weeks at the hotel.

We had such an enjoyable time and could not want for anything in the food, drinks side of the hotel. Each day the menu changes and some evening is a theme night with a national dishes from countries. There was choice of salards, rice dishes etc. One concern will be is when the hotel is full there maybe not enough seats / tables for everyone but speaking to one of the staff they are extending the dinner times to compensate.

The staff around hotel and including pools are asking you if you want anything crisps / drinks / nuts / icecream etc every 10 mins or so. They are all pleasant and keep all areas as clean as possible.

The entertainment team encourage you to take part in a range of daily activities; volleyball, water polo, darts, water gym, etc and if you just want to relax then you just say no.

We were dispointed with the evening entertainimnet but that is not down to the team; they are trying there best with the facilitiies they have as the evening entertianment for adults is poor - with quiz nights being regular! There area for future use is being built but one concern is that is is away from the main hotel and near blocks 2 & 3 which can then cause a noise problem if you want to sleep!

Adjacent to the entertainmnet areas is the Childrens play area with the building for 'kids club' is nearly complete.

The football / volleyball area is complete and landscaping is still underway, the tennis court are in use but gate missing and one guest had problem with the tennis balls going through the holes in fencing!!.

The 3 pools are great with 2 infinite pools looking out to a wonderful view of the sea. You never get tired of the view and can also be seen from the resturant. The kids pool has flumes and being away slighly from hotel you cant hear the screams of joy!.

The beach is small but as family we arent beach people so not a problem for us.

We did go out of the hotel and went to The Lasente which is a very nice adults hotel and when we visited at night there was no entertiainment only people eating in the resturant with long trousers etc. The hotel is in a poor location in realation to the beach; however it is in Tsilivi and can walk to the town; which the town is not to my liking. There are nicer towns on the island.

Went here on holiday for one week early july : couple with one child of 11 and 2 other couples. All hotel rooms (including the villas with pool - which is rather small) seemed to be occupied.
Not finished : Spa (but you can get massages or use a sauna), bowling alley, snooker, bar outside the hotel for animation, shop. There is a fitness room but it isn't very large.
Rooms : we stayed in the "second" block, which is located a 200 m behind the main building. The room was spacious with a good bed. Shower screen was installed the last day of our stay. Cleaning comes twice a day (morning and evening).
Food : Great variety, great quality and very good service. The restaurant may be a bit small for the hotel (we saw couples waiting for a place a few minutes at the busiest moments) but this is a small critisism.
Pools : 3 pools of which certainly the lower one is big enough. If you want a place here, certainly close to the pool bar, you have to get up at 07:00 to place towels...
Very clean, and superb service from the staff, mainly east-european (also in the restaurant) young people. They constantly roam the pools to collect empty glasses and kindly offer you a drink without ever being intrusive. Really great !!!
There is a kids pool aside from the "upper" pool, where there's kid animation (drawing , games).
100 m Away is the pool with the 4 sildes, which are fun. The animation team organises their water polo here so the main pools stay "quiet" except for the water gym, which is fun to watch of participate.
Bar : The evening activities are located at the bar close to the reception as the bar close to the second block, where we stayed, wasn't finished. Mini disco at 20.30 and quiz / disco night / ... at 21.30. They serve a good range of drinks for the all in formula. Here also, a special recommandation for the staff.
Overall grounds : There was still work going on (planting etc) but no drilling or anything noisy.
Shop : there will be a hotel shop later on, but you can take a small walk (about 500 m) out of the hotel and find a supermarket there. They have belgian (and other) newspapers after 13u00.
Animation team : Water polo, beach volley, water gym, darts, evening activities. Day off is friday. They allways ask you to join.
Minor comments : The key cards of the rooms didn't work a few times so the reception had to recalibrate them. The toilets at the reception and at the pools (there are toilets down the stairs aside of the kiddy pool but they aren't visible) don't have a key / locking mechanism. The digital TV's in the room acted strangely a few times.
A brochure with a map and indications at ariival would be nice.

Conclusion : Nice hotel with a very good all-in formula. A special note for the very friendly staff. We had a superb holiday.
