Upon check in early October late at night we were told our room we had booked for 6 months had been double booked in which we had to stay in the Maris hotel for 3 nights. Bad start to the birthday break we had planned.

We weren't the only ones with there being numerous couples in the same situation, clearly bad management from the reservations team who I'm sorry to say preferred the €€ rather to book conference guests into everyone else's rooms.

we were compensated fairly throughout the week.

as for the all inclusive, it's great for a European hotel, best we have encounted, great choice but we're not to fussy especially when reading the other reviews.

pools are freezing so opted to dip in and enjoy the sun. Seems to be a repetitive complaint also.

Facilities in general, the hotel is spotlessly clean, the cleaners do a fantastic job, the restaurant service can be slightly slow at times.

Big thanks to Emilia and Chrysa on reception, lovely smilingly faces every day and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable daily.

If it's your first time here like ourselves I would recommend hiring bikes and going for a pedal to Kos town, that in itself is a beautiful place even if it was on the quiet side this time of year.

If your going to bring your children I wouldn't recommend this hotel, maybe the aqua park.

To summarise, if you don't look into things so much and just relax and enjoy your time here, it's beneficial, a lovely all round hotel. Thank you, I've had a lovely birthday and will most certainly recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel has a lot of potentials...although it claims to be five star, in fact it is a four star calibre...service seemingly mediocre..when we arrived we had to find a bellboy to collect the suitcases...my husband had drag one suitcase by himself
The dinner buffet was mediocre...food not amazing...could not take a shower water way too lukewarm for an autumn cold evening..too many kids running around the place and keeping lifts/elevators busy...
Some teenagers were screaming late at night as if attending some match or competition of some sort thus denied us some sleep after a long day of travel??? noisy rowdy rough hotel guests
Room was a bit chilly and uncomfortable. Contrasted with the lovely courteous receptionist we encountered in Mykonos this one here has a bad attitude and seemed unhelpful. Bathroom looked pretty and they use good quality shampoo and soaps....room very spacious with lots of potentials, I hate to say it the place lacks class and is way too casual for my taste...sadly we are checking out tomorrow, cutting our stay here short and moving elsewhere...(which promises to be better) keeping our fingers crossed and will keep you posted on the outcome of the other alternative

Room Tip: Nice ocean view

My wife and I have just returned home after another wonderful stay at the Kipriotis Panorama.

There had been a slight change in the management since our last visit and it proved for the better.
Management now insist on men wearing long trousers for dinner, which is normal in any five star hotel, sadly some people do not realise the etiquette needed when they stay at a hotel like the Panorama.
The staff at the Panorama were wonderful as usual and my wife and I would find it very difficult to find any faults at this fine hotel.

Room Tip: Most rooms have a sea view, except a few on the side and back.

first, i would have to admit that the hotel is very impressive. the rooms are very big, clean and comfortable. it is pretty close to the city (a 7 minute bicycle ride) and close to the sea. the pool is beautiful but extremely cold. you can say that the island has it all. the adventures and facilities but the greek attitude was so bad. everybody is so grim and sad. you may find yourself not once asking the waiter for something and get a face and a few quiet words in greek. we had a problem with the invitation on the first day. instead of helping us the reception staff laughed and told me to buy a telephone card so i can call to my travel agency. if you're looking for wifi, you will find it costs 50 euros for a week !! and beacuse of the size of this hotel you will not have a signal. the tv in the rooms is an old box tv with some greek chanels and nothing to watch. the gym is just a couple of spinning bikes and few weights so don't expect any training. it's my second time in greece since july and i can clearly say that the greek people was not very welcoming. it's quite sad beacuse i know i'm not coming back again. it's true, the great deals for greece supposed to be great, but the grim attitude was the worst thing.

Room Tip: the rooms inside the building is smaller than the rooms outside.

Firstly I would say I definintely agree that this hotel is definintely not a 5* resort, if you are expecting 5*, you'd be disappointed.
However, it is still really lovely, and it is a huge hotel catering for a huge number of people and I think they do pretty well.
The pool area is nice, the pool is clean but cold.

The room (we had an execuitve suite) was lovely and cleaned well every day. The view from the balcony was great but you need to be up high (above 3rd floor i think) to see the sea.

The food was good considering the number of people eating - it was varied enough but did get a bit repepritive but you would always find something to enjoy. I think the lunch tended to be the best out of breakfast/lunch/dinner. Some days we skipped breakfast as it wasnt very good. Also the service is very slow and the staff do nothing to help you find a free table etc, all a bit confusing.

The bar - the all inclusive beer was very poor - you would expect them to serve Mythos or another local beer but it was just very basic generic stuff. They served cocktials as part of the all inclusive which were nice. The bar staff were lovely.

The beach - was nice but shingle, not sandy. You can use the sunloungers if all inclusive and also get non alcoholic drinks from a van/beach bar.

The hotel itself was really nicely presented and very clean and the staff all welcoming. I would recommend the hotel and we had a fantastic holiday there, however I wouldn't return but only because the area it was in wasn't that great and it was a bit far from anything, I would rather explore another part of the island.

Also a tip would be to hire bikes to travel around on - you can hire them from outside the hippocrates hotel for 5 euros a day, well worth doing!

it was a disaster! the person at the reception desk greeted us and said we got a suit. he just forgot to say that it was remte fro the pool from te dinning room....when we got back to our "suit" room 456 the floor was covered!!!! with ants and bugs!!!! we called the reception they say the can not do anything. i poured all the soap on the floor and covered it with all the towels we had. that was the first night in Kipriotis Panorama. A disgrace!!!
in the morning the housekeeper came and promossed they will fix it. when we got back at 14:00 the room was the same! it took them untill 16:00 to fix it. the furnutures are old and noisy. we could not sleep for 2 nights since every move made a huge noise! finally at our last day at 14:00 we ere moved to other room that was much much better. Finally we were able to sleep in our last night at Kos, we had to get up at 6:30 am to get going to the airport. I will write about this disgraceful hotel to warn people!

We stayed at Kipriotis Panorama for a week on all-inclusive package and very rarely felt welcomed. We arrived quite late (23:15) and didn't get even a welcome drink. Bar was closed, late snacks were just few pieces of dry bred, few tomatoes and horrible soup. Lunch and dinner food were tasteless. The best we found it was watermelon :-) They do three different a-la carte dinners: Lobster, Asian and Italian. You can choose just one per stay and if you pick the Lobster one you will be charged extra even if you are on all-inclusive holiday! We've chosen an Asian one. The food was far far away from Asian. At the bars you can see all the premium drinks, but if you are on all-inclusive you will be charged! On all-inclusive you'll be served only local drinks. Wine is something terribly horrible! Do not recommend even to try. Beer is OK. If you'll ask for a 'Bloody Mary' cocktail at the bar you'll find that you have to pay for tomatoes juice. Tomatoes juice not included in all-inclusive package :-) Beach bar is just an old minivan without wheels standing near unclean beach. Parasols and sun beds near the main pool are broken and difficult to find a good one. Evening entertainment is just a same songs singing girl every night. The program starts 10:30pm and the bar closes 11:00pm!!!! What was positive it's just reception staff and some waiters. Nice views (if you have sea view room) and quite clean hotel. It feels like the hotel is going bankrupt. This isn't 5 stars hotel.
