Owner description: Welcome to the longest zip line in the Caribbean.Lower yourself across 16 platforms, and 12 cables, spawning two miles throughout a mountain range. A docile airlift, an ethereal slip sifting through the thick foliage overhead. Glide through two of the biggest zip lines in the Caribbean. Experience an unmatched frenzy, blundering skin deep amidst a dazzling rainforest. As you timidly scour the first cable, your body relinquishes all fears, and an adrenaline rush subdues your being.Twirling from platform to platform, pre-Columbian enigmas come to life in the middle of fascinating vistas. Anamuya Mountain is swathed by mysticism, yearning to be revealed before your eyes. Hidden secrets lie afar in a forgotten site once settled by an indigenous civilization.Raising yourself over a colossal arena, accomplish cunning feats, attaining distances far over 900 meters.

I have to say that I am a bit scared of heights. However, I felt safe and comfortable with the zip lines as the guides were professional, very friendly, and constantly checking that everything was secure. The only part that caused my knees to wobble was climbing the stairs for cable 9 - the lines were connected from tower to tower. You are really high up there. We were part of a group that had a seven year-old girl who was amazingly brave. If she could do it, then so could I! If you take a bag or purse, they give you a bin (for the whole group) and hold for you until after. The excursion was a bit longer than I had expected, but the zip lines were worth it! Our tour guide was Max (can't remember the driver's name). They do take your photo for you to purchase as a souvenir.

The staff was very informative, and although the initial leap of faith was hard, I felt as if I was in great hands. The team harped on safety and reminded you every step of the way what to do and expect. Be sure to wear sneakers, as you will do some hiking, bring a camera with a secure strap, and dress cool - you will sweat! Finally, smile on Line 2 for the camera! They offer you a photo keepsake option of your courageous adventure. This is an experience I will talk about for many years!

This was a bit different from the zip line tours I have been on before. Instead of going as a small group with 2 guides, you have to wait until all the people arrive from the different areas and then go as one big group. There is a lot of down time at the beginning and you get a feeling of being herded at times. I counted about 47 people in the group. The land area is not pristine and a lot of the lines are over old fields. All the platforms are on towers and there are no big trees on the area. Nevertheless, the zip lines themselves are quite exciting with good speed and worth the price of the trip. The long lines were especially nice over the river and very scenic. Each platform had one guide on it and everyone seemed polite and friendly. My main complaint about the trip was the ride to the site. They use an overland Safari type truck with no suspension to try and give a sense of adventure. However, it is really nothing but pure torture on your back and butt and a miserable experience that just saves them money for not providing a proper bus. The escort man tried to imply the roads needed a truck, however, I went over a lot of the same roads later on another trip in a coach and it was very comfortable and the bus had no trouble at all with the roads. I would not take the trip again with Bavaro if I had to endure the truck. At the end there were drinks and fruit snacks and it was good to sit and rest and enjoy the nice view from the deck, as it was very hot and humid on the course.

Flat tire delayed our journey home. Zipline was good. Children can't do the big lines that cross the river.

We are sorry about the delay caused by the flat fire. For safety reasons, children under 8 years old can not do the longer lines. Thank you for your review!!
