Beach was lovely nice sand palm trees, restaurants, smalls stalls and shops, but very busy with local families,
we thought it would be safer if we use dreams hotels facilities for one hour (1 umbrealla 2 lounge $65) it was overrated but it was nice to swim and shower before go back to cruise with kids .than we also had quick visit to more quite domicano beach it was nicer and quieter.

Beach itself is OK. The pitch into the water is about 3 feet and 90 degrees. The sand is crunchy, not soft.
With regard to the vendors, your best bet on negotiations is to be armed with knowledge. Go to the hotel gift shop to see what they are charging so you know what "overpriced" is to start with. The vendors will start with a ridiculous number, so there is no starting negotiation point. I looked at artwork where the vendor started at $300US. The hotel gift shop was $50...
After you reject their "good price" several times, they will inevitably hand you a calculator and say, "Tell me your best offer". Start with $5. And stay at $5. Chances are, they will be so insulted... that they will sell it to you for $5...

Clean, no waves, cristal clear water, good snorkeling spots, never too crowded. When you pass the resorts area, the beach is unspoilt and goes like this for miles. Perfect walks, perfect swim in the sunset. The most beautiful sunsets.

You have to watch where you walk on this beach because there are sharp objects and trash on this section of beach

Regular beach in a small town. A bit squeezed by surrounding hotels. Rather clean. There is a cafe, gifts shops and place to park a car.
