This was my second time staying at this hotel. As per usual, the service was great; my girlfriend and I had an amazing/romantic time. I'd recommend this stay for couples unless you are attending during the high season. If you're looking to party, this is not an ideal location.
Shout out to Benny who continues to provide excellent service to all guests - he's been there for over 13 years and and also was my waiter when I last visited in 2013.More

Me and my boyfriend travelled here for 2 weeks in August 2018 and it was a holiday we will never forget! We previously visited the hotel in 2016 and loved it so much we had to come back! The staff are all incredible, so polite and friendly. All of the restaurants provide excellent food and a wide selection. The drinks are all so tasty and have plenty of alcohol in them. Room service was never a long wait. Overall this was a holiday me and my boyfriend will never forget and we will be returning in the future!

From the minute you arrive you are greeted by people that care about giving great service. It starts at the top with the GM and carries to every single staff member. The room I had was an upgrade and fabulous but I think I could be happy anywhere here. Pools and Bars are ready to serve and food is plenty. Palm trees and blue sea what else do you need! By the way when we were escorted to the room we got a hug from the agent. She treated us like family. You can learn a lot from other countries.

First off I’m going to start by saying that reading the bad reviews disappoints me because i find that during our stay none of it happened. The food is amazing (one of the best all-inclusive hotels i have ever been to), everything is fresh, staff is amazing, no one on the beach is trying to harass you to buy something, some restaurants are closed BUT they kept a few open that rotate the menu of the other restaurants that are closed! So even if they are closed you still enjoy the cuisine ! During our stay we saw that areas are closed but I can’t say that it affected our stay, there is so much to see and enjoy that it shouldn’t be an issue. The beach is perfect, fine white sand without any trace of seaweed, water is warm and calm. We had an issue with our room when we arrived and they changed the room immediately. I think the beds, mattress, pillows were comfortable. The rooms are a bit outdated but are clean. Ask for a room on the 3rd floor if you are staying in preferred block 5, higher ceilings, quiet and slightly better room.
Room service is 24hrs and there is a 5$ usd fee for it, but the food is as good as if you would go in a restaurant. In other hotels we had issues with room service that it was cold or stale, NOT in this one !! Food was amazing and everything was fresh and still hot.
We think one of the biggest asset this hotel has is its chefs! Everything is cooked and seasoned perfectly, portions are enough to leave you room to try other stuff as well.
Im also very happy that the hotel is helping protect the environment by not using straws in drinks.
Overall i would say that if you are hesitating if you should choose this hotel or not, DEFINITELY book it ! You won’t regret it! Best hotel in the region!

Tip: piña coladas contains coconut milk-natural diuretic, if your stomach is sensitive, limit your consumption.

A special mention for Julissa ALAVAREZ hotel concierge very welcoming and helpful always with a smile to help guests.
The beach staff is also very nice and smiles.
No complaints about the restaurant which offers varied menus, there is something for all tastes.
If your destination is the Dominican Republic, I strongly advise you to prefer this hotel which is undergoing renovation to satisfy even more guests.
