For a first time in my life ( and I am travelling a lot because of my work) on the day of arrival I was asked to pay on the spot in advance the whole amount for our AI 8 day family stay ( 2 adults + 1 child). We were in room 62, just next to the kitchen and the pool ( too noisy and smelly place to stay). Food: as quality and quantity "poor to middle" ( for the whole stay we had same assortment of salads and starters, very often you have to queue to wait for some meal. Beverages ( alcoholic and non-alcoholic) : awful to poor as quality and quantity! For instance I saw for a first time whiskey "Highland Bird" ?! Beach: depending on your room between 12-18 minutes walking distance per direction to the nearest beach! If you are without a car, and with small kid(s) this could be very "interesting". Facility location: in the middle of nowhere. The nearest village of Paliouri is at least couple of km away, so if you are without a car this could be a problem. Wrong guest concept: you can not put in one and the same mini building a couple of families with small kids next to a couple of groups of Polish teenagers! It as an absolute no go! 4 Star Hotel: absolutely no! I would not give more than 3 maximum.
8 day stay AI in apartment: just below 1100 EUR. For double of this amount on an early bird booking you could have much, much better stay in Greece
P.S. Although we were in Greece, the sea food was missing?! This is something I could not accept!More
