I have visited this Hotel to work on the new to open Club. I had a great stay, the food was very good and the rooms where all new. They have a small private beachstrip which is very nice to chill out and be away from the pool.

This resort was not what we expected. It was certainly a beautiful, new resort, and from what I read from other posts, a very recently opened one. What surprised me beside the fact that most of the clientele were Russian speaking, was that most of the staff were Russian speaking, and some spoke no Greek (nor other languages)!! The majority of the people staying in the hotel were Russian-speaking, and appeared to be arriving in big tour busses, and on the all-inclusive food plan. Most of the TV stations were in Russian, and the Greek TV stations were barely visible. The food was quite good, and because everyone was on the meal plan, the restaurants in the evening were nearly completely empty. The pool and beach were both nice and comfortable. The beach area, as with most beaches in Greece, was rocky but they had laid down walkways made of plastic which was very nice to walk on. Although the resort had many families and children, it was spacious enough that you didn't feel cramped. The rooms were comfortable, but we did have some trouble with the AC. Overall, pretty clean, but we noticed that during our stay, the level of cleaning dropped off each day. In the end, we did have a good experience, albeit we sometimes forgot which country we were in!

Room Tip: The room we had faced the pool and beach side, which would be better than facing the road. Also, we...

This is a difficult hotel to review. It is a brand-new hotel insofar as the old hotel was demolished and replaced by a brand-new hotel which opened on 1 June. Everything in the hotel is new. The hotel has been constructed to a very high standard. The hotel has an amazing SPA in the basement-quite unlike anything I'd seen before. Very luxurious. I booked a Jr suite with a sea view-40 m² of well appointed bedroom. Extremely clean-huge plasma TV screen-very comfortable.

On the more negative side, because the hotel is new, the staff are not as helpful as staff I found in two other Greek hotels stayed in on my current trip. I believe that this is a matter of experience and training. The other negative thing is that this hotel would appear to be owned by a Russian company and 95% of the people staying there were Russian. It would appear that most of the people staying were families on package tours from Russia. The hotel did not appear to cater for other European nationalities. This meant that most of the signs and notices were in Russian. The spa manager said that we were the first people from the UK that she had met in the hotel since it opened in June. Her English was very good. She was extremely helpful in the information she gave us.

The breakfast buffet was vast. Lots of selection. We did not eat lunch or dinner there. Most of the people appeared to be on full board.

Other reviewers had noted that the reception staff were not too friendly. They didn't smile a lot. They did ask me for a 300 Euro deposit-either in cash or on my credit card. This was to cover any food or drink that I might purchase in the hotel. I explained to them that I did not want my credit card debited €300 because I doubted that I would spend that in the hotel and I did not want to lose money on the currency exchange when it was re-credited to my account. Only after taking a photocopy of my passport and my credit card, did they agree not to take the deposit.

Room Tip: When I booked, I asked for a Jr suite with Seaview. I was told that all rooms had a Seaview. This is...

The hotel is newly renovated and opened in june 2013. The rooms are spacious with new furniture and very good beds. The spa is WOW , it is all that you see in the pictures and more, very nice indoor pool, different kind of saunas and showers, weight room etc. The reception staff is not so nice but you don't need them so much !
The private beach is ok but with a lot of little stones .....it could be better!
It is a truly 5 star hotel!!!
We will come back

We were impressed because in greece not always 5 stars like 5 stars but this hotel is luxurios. I hope not only russian people will come to vacation here. The waiters arr friendly, the stuff at the reception is not really friendly but you don t have much to so with them during your stay, impressive spa, good antistress massage, good watersports but all activities written only in russian language, you have to ask the stuff to translate, excellent and various food. I would come back!
