We ended up at Amiens Glisy airport when the weather prevented us making it to Calais, then onwards to UK. The Controllers at the airport pointed at a group of hotels within walking distance (about a mile) and we chose the first - the Campanile.
The staff were delightful. Their English and my French got us through somehow.
The room was clean, motel style, looked pretty well up to standard.
We ate in the restaurant, it was busy, and the chosen fish dish we were warned would take 40 minutes. But we weren't in a hurry so chose it anyway. Regrettably, though tasty, it wasn't evenly hot throughout, maybe 40 minutes wasn't enough to defrost?
If we flew in again we might stay here, we might try one of the others. We felt it a little expensive for what was delivered - The Novotel looking a better bet than the Première Classe
