An elegant small hotel with terraces down to a perfect swimming platform. The views are wonderful.
A warm welcome from Lia and from then on your comfort is her main priority.
The rooms are spacious, spotless and stylishly furnished.Breakfast and lunch can be taken on the terrace watching the boats go by and next year there will be a restaurant for meals in the evening.
Quiet,peaceful and thoroughly lovely.
Agistri is off the tourist route,so there is little to do apart from relaxing,swimming,walking,eating and drinking. . . . . . . . . . . .wonderful.

My wife and I wanted to enjoy a weekend of relaxation. The accomodations of Kekrifalia made that possible. The room was very neat with a beautiful view of the beach which was just a few steps down a stairway right in front of our room. The location of the hotel is less than a km away from the main town, yet it's still remotely located which makes for some peace and quiet for those who just want to rest and relax.

On the down side, the service was less than average. The day of our arrival at the hotel we asked if we could pay by credit card but the owner replied that they don't accept . When we asked why is it that the hotel next door accepts payment by credit card, the owner simply said that because that hotel deals with foreign tourists (since we are Canadians it gave us the impression that we were not welcomed there). We still decided to stay though since that was a nicer hotel. On our last day we kindly asked the manager if it was possible to check out at 1:00pm rather than 12:00pm since the ferry was heading back to Athens at 2:00pm. The manager said that she would check with the owner. 20 minutes later as me and my wife were relaxing by the beach the manager came to us saying a blunt NO and that we had to check out at 12:00pm as this was the hotel policy. When we finally checked out at 12:00pm the owner asked us if we had a good time. I replied that we loved the room but that we could not say the same about the service. When the owner inquired as to my disapointement i explained the reason being the checkout issue. Then she went on explaining that other people were wating for the room since they had a reservation.

I think the reason she gave me is fair, however part of giving good service is explaining to me the customer the reason why we could not stay an hour more rather than just saying no and perhaps at least offering to keep our luggage by the lobby while we could still stay at the beach.

Overall we had a good time but the poor service put a damper on our weekend

We visited Agistri for a weekend of relaxation in April. At that time, few tourists are there, but we chose it to be quiet. We stayed in Kekrifalia for two nights.

Rooms/Cleanliness: The room was spacious with an excellent bed and a TV set, all in very good shape and very clean. Bathroom was great as well, big and very clean aswell as comfortable. Overall, the standard of the room was very high and could be easily compared to many more glamorous places we have been to. A slight drawback was that toiletries were a big sparse with just two bars of soap. Towels were many and adequate. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast (at least in the low season we visited) but the spacious room has a big fridge, sink and a small kitchenette appropriate to prepare breakfast. We liked this and the fact that the room was very big, and we had lots of space at our disposal. The sea view from the balcony is outstanding too. At night there was some noise from somewhere, perhaps some noisy guests. We didn't bother much, but a light sleeper could find it annoying. Room was fitted with an excellent air-conditioner.

Location: Very good, close to the main port, but still away from the fuss of the summer months. We liked it and thought it was very quiet and relaxing. The skala village is 5 minutes on foot, where even in the low season, there are options for dining and entertainment. After hearing a lot about a specific pizzeria called "Avli" we tried it and we were not disappointed. Great pizza and other food at a good price, though not cheap.

Service: was good, though we didn't need anything really. as expected and professional, also very informative on ship timetables etc.

Value: the hotel was a very good value at the price we paid for it in the low season, though in the summer months that might be different. Some slight attention to better toiletries, would make it even better. If being again in Agistri, we would return.

hint, for a small fare, you can take the ferry from skala and visit Aegina, nearby on a day trip. much better value than really staying there where accommodation is more expensive.
